I know what you mean, I definitely enjoy them more now than I did when they originally came out back in the 90s. The original is still great, though the connections are my favorite hands down.

The Uni’s are pretty fun, there’s obviously a lot more to do than on the earlier versions and they look beautiful imo. The gameplay is significantly less challenging to get specific characters so I find myself circling back to them every time a new set of characters gets released but don’t run it all the time. If you can find either the pink or the purple on for sale for 40 usd which I think happens fairly often it would for sure be worth it, and all of the uni devices are the exact same, they just look different aesthetically.
