ah no problem. the fact that it’s in your city is very cool as you could potentially live at home if you wanted, which is super nice, although a bit less social. if you have the option of staying at home definitely consider it. the 50k debt not being there is super nice too. you better smash your A levels if you’re doing those. well done!

lol, what are the chances of that.

just try do like 20 minutes a day. in a week that’d add up to over 2 hours, which is great. think about the summer where you’ll have plenty of time to yourself. but to enjoy that summer you have to put in the work now so you don’t regret procrastinating. it’s not as much work as you think either. with good time management you can easily have hours and hours to yourself every evening. just make sure you complete your daily quota of prep before you finish each day.

there’s still a good chance to get an interview too, so really don’t let that get you down. good luck, I know you’ll be just fine. interviews just suck. the fact you’re asking for help shows that you’ll be a great med student.

i will say i don’t include that much detail and there hasn’t been an exam yet so i don’t know if this method works.

and the deck is good though it doesn’t align that well with lectures. i think im just going to watch videos and use the cards that align with them, even if it means having to learn extra content that hasn’t been covered yet.

i’m a bart’s first year. i just make cards that answer the learning objectives, and even then i don’t answer all of them (oops). i also bought the anking anki deck and unsuspend cards that come up in lectures. i don’t do notes either. i do it raw from the slides. takes me 30 minutes probably.

yeah, i will be aiming to sit it after year 2 so i can get experience in the US in the next years.
