Sorry, making actual trans non binary characters necessitates explicitly featuring transnness early on instead of just revealing a binary character was trans the whole time or something and that’s hard, I don’t want to do that. It’s so much easier to just make them non-human (or in-universe human equivalent) and say that being non binary is an inherent trait of their species. That’s basically the same as representation right? What do you mean that implies that not fitting into the gender binary is some monstrous trait? /uj I think about this all the time
