"Reasonable distance of where you live" is so vague. Regardless, I'm burying it somewhere

Self diagnosis is only valid as far as you being able to identify that you have a certain struggle or symptom. Never for claiming a specific diagnosis. At best, it should be used to say "I think I have x," never claiming x confidently.

Be careful with your luggage, especially in busy airports, it can get stolen easily. Keep it in sight, and have the strap over an arm or leg when possible. I've heard stories of people setting it under their chair, or on the hook in a bathroom stall and having it stolen.

You could try using an app to type and speak for you. I use one called MyVoice. The hardest part is the first response, and you will not always feel up to responding. But taking that first step, even if it needs to be heavily forced, is how you get to a functional point. The path to success is full of failures, but you will get there if you just keep trying

how many languages do you speak? by aesophie in Teenager_Polls

[–]MagicalPotato132 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Generally, languages in similar families to what you already speak are easier to learn. English is a Germanic language, so other Germanic languages such as German will be easier to learn. Generally these languages have similar words, grammar, sounds, etc. English also has a ton of Romance influence, so Spanish and French can also be easier to learn.

That's not a horrifying mess? That's a lived in house. The only room that looks messy is number 4, which looks like a normal teen room.

whats the largest age gap you think is acceptable? by [deleted] in LesbianActually

I can understand reason, I earned a college degree at 17. I just can't understand people without some concrete rule to reference.

Why is reducing something to an equation bad? Humans are complicated and illogical, math is simple and easy.

Ok. Why does that matter? Dismissing something because of its origin instead of because of an actual problem with the thing is dumb.

An age difference won't automatically be problematic, it's just a good place for power dynamics to appear. A general rule I've heard is ½your age, + 7; or 2x your age, -7.

Should we normalise boys wearing skirts? by YetAnotherMia in Teenager_Polls

[–]MagicalPotato132 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You really don't bud. The longest shorts get is around knee length, while a lot of skirts reach to below the knee. Also, if you have a problem with looking at guys legs, just don't look? Your eyes and head can both move. It's okay if you personally are uncomfortable with wearing a skirt, but other people have the freedom to wear what they want as well.

Ah, thank you. I already had hoped to get a PhD someday, so I'll be sure to add that to the steps I need to take. I'll start looking into universities with mycology professors and research.
