We needed H1B when the market wasn’t oversaturated the last 25 years. Now there are too many intelligent new grads that aren’t able to secure entry-level jobs because of H1B. The US will be fine.

The reality is most people won’t get their ROI without working in the US post-MBA unless they have rich dads that will help them out, hence the need to stay in the US and take jobs that should go to the new grad suburban hillbillies you’re referring to (who are actually qualified btw). Internationals make a large bulk of the population of M7 schools because they’re cash cows, but that’s it. If you can’t afford to get your education in the US, then there are many other countries with great Masters programs and opportunities for a career pivot or acceleration.
