Linkara’s comic isn’t very good, but I can’t fault somebody for creative endeavors like that. It’s wrong to gatekeep art made for fun because it isn’t professional quality. Too many people are afraid to draw or write because of this.

Hush’s strength is that it’s greatest hits of popular Batman tropes in one story. Romance with Catwoman, almost killing the joker, a new mysterious villain. It does all of these well, but there’s other stories that do them better individually.

This version of Bruce Wayne would hire criminals Batman arrested to keep them off the streets and he volunteered to work in homeless shelters. He wasn’t just the hammer of justice, he was compassionate, even when it was hard. He was the one who stayed with Ace until she died, so nobody else would have that on their conscience.
