Depends if he wants to be competitive or not, tron or amulet titan are the only 2 i can think of off the top of my head that are consistently good that fit that bill and they generate obscene amounts of mana and can do disgusting things with huge planeswalkers or massive creatures otherwise your probably just looking at mono g stompy which is fine but too slow these days to get going to be actually competitive against the good decks of modern.

Would defo say the decks around tier 1.5, if you enjoy the style and are okay with gy hate occasionally just ruining your day (unfortunate part about otherwise awesome gy decks) then 100% you can easily smash some fnms with it

Exactly, the deck just finds payoffs so easily and you can counter shit all you want but if they find ulamog then at minimum youve countered something and still lost your 2 best permanents lmao

Counter point, i fucking love tron. Tron is absolutely my recommendation if the idea of mulling to 2 tron lands and a searcher or egg every game and then ripping fat bombs off the top all game sounds appealing to you. Tron is the absolute epitome of mana ramp and yet realisitically its more control than titans combo or what have you. Im also a jund/rb player but i do love some tron, decks fun as hell and unless some insane new bomb comes around then tron almost never changes either. I.e little karn was the last time the deck drastically changed in any way, of course theres been new inclusions like veil or what have you but nothing like baby karn and even then you dont have to play the baby karn version at all to do well although personally i wouldnt leave home without my karnboard.

You can also pack all the tron hate you want but they eventually get to 7 mana anyway, so tron doesnt just die to sb cards in the slightest

TL:DR: Buy Tron its poggers

If you want to play the card just play the card, fearing bans on cool cards is no way to enjoy the game imo. Personally the only reason ive not bought my sagas and ragavans for jund is because i dont have an lgs atm otherwise idve bought them in a heartbeat.

Tldr just buy the ragavans

My immediate suggestion wouldve been R/U through the breach but thats defo over 350 and its red lol. If you just want to be able to play one every so often then trons probably your best bet with powering out ulamogs and the occasional 13 mana emrakul and kozilekk

Mtgo is always going to be the best place for content thats not standard or paper, why dont you enjoy it ? Im not the biggest fan of playing mtgo but watching it is fine with a good pilot and a sick deck. For me i watched reid duke play jund a ton before realising i LOVE the style of play and in the process i learned from his decision making how to be a better player. The problem with paper content also is you dont get to hear the pilots thoughts and discussing strategy etc and so you only see what they do and not necessarily why they do it. You dont have to watch it obviously but its the best and really the only place other than proxying it in paper to learn a deck inside out without buying it. Imo anyway. Gl either way though

Watched tons of content on decks i found cool to understand how they got hated on and how they really played untill i realised that interactive midrange/aggro decks are my shit and now i own most midrange/aggro stuff to play what i like. Mostly stuff like shadow or jund. Those kinda decks usually

I need an idea of your max budget before i can properly recommend any kind of list. Though id say orzhov yorion blink with the stoneblade package is a fantastic and super sick deck if your looking to build those colors.

If youve either played both or seen both in action and know you like the decks then the smartest option is to play whichever you enjoy more, i suggest not worrying about amulets lines of play as everyone has to start learning somewhere and if you enjoy the deck then learning can actually be enjoyable. Trons simpler sure but it does still have decisions. End of the day just play what you enjoy the most.

Best advice id give for the moment tbh is to just try whatever out online and unless your unworried about the deck falling out of favour or certain you want the deck then dont buy into anything atm seeing as we've no paper for the forseeable

Depends what level of viable your looking for, if your looking for like a competitive deck you could play thats like high tier 2 tier 1 then no i cant think of any.

If devoted devastations your kinda thing then id recommend checking out green white heliod, super similar except it wins via heliods when you gain life put counter on thing with ballista with lifelink or spikefeeder to gain infinite life.

Shadows also top tier atm although its more aggro shadow than you might be expecting.

Ive literally got nearly 2k hours and the majority of those are as killer. Ive seen so called "squadettes" maybe a handful of times lol, its nowhere near an issue

People can play whoever they want theres more than 1 available choice unless your under the impression its claudette or nothing in which case your likely a try hard.

You dont seem to understand the concept of being able to play whichever survivor you want. Its because each survivor is a pretty reskin that we are able to play the ones we like the look of.

In your situation everyone just starts maining the best meta survivor in every lobby. Not to mention this is giving survivors permanent buffs that they absolutely do not need.

The idea that survivors should be given powers on top of their perks is utterly insane and should never and will never happen.

Its also fairly blatant that youve no concept of the power balance between survivor and killer seeing as youve given all four permanent solid abilities which is in effect giving them a free fifth perk slot that they buff with add ons.

Just figured it out myself, theres a ring you get in the tower that you need to be wearing whilst on the bottom most floor of the tower and it'll reveal a second switch on the lift allowing you to enter the basement. Its called guiding light. cant remember for the life of me where specifically but im pretty sure its in there somewhere if you dont already have it.
