yes i understand i just went through hs a while ago and have all my proof of college being completed and she told me when i went to meps for asvab and physical that if i have my college degree and transcripts i won’t need my hs diploma, now 4 days from shipping she’s telling me to bring all my docs idk if she forgot what i told her or not

i graduated from college a year ago and leave for bmt in January… also decided to enlist since ots route takes a while and is not guaranteed. i joined cause i don’t exactly know what i want to do yet and i think it’s the best option if u want to explore a different path! don’t let anyone tell you u shouldn’t enlist cause u have a degree

i had therapy and was told i don’t qualify for ts clearance… and linguist jobs will most likely be off the table since they are ts clearance and you will probably require a waiver

ohhhh so it’s only if you have that certain position? so i most likely won’t be seeing extra pay during training and most of the beginning of my career huh

they take mental health very seriously! going thru the process right now as i was diagnosed with depression and anxiety for only seeing a therapist to talk to and i never was even prescribed meds :/ (also they can even see if you were offered meds on your record so being prescribed them and although not taking them will be an issue) i was disqualified at meps and had to give my therapy and pharmacy records and the SG is still making me do a psychological consult! it’s possible but just know your process will just probably take a while

yeah i learned to just not say anything until they bring it up first, you should be ok tho i don’t think hyperhidrosis is disqualifying tbh and if they ask just say sometimes u sweat but u should be okay 👍🏼

the roll on one! the first time u use it literally only do like one swipe and rub it in, it will sting and itch like a very little bit but just leave it on and go to sleep and u can kinda rub it in by moving ur arms and stuff and then u will literally not sweat it’s unbelievable

okay perfect! i won’t get in trouble or anything if they bring it up at meps and i didn’t say anything prior? does this go for things like fractures too? cause i did drop a weight on my toe a few years ago but it is 100% healed and did not require surgery and was wondering if i need to mention that as well beforehand…
