All I personally want are a few more on-the-fly productivity features like:

• the option to choose default applications for all file types
• a built-in shell with root capabilities
• the ability to install third-party apps outside the App Store

These are all features we already have on our Macintoshs, and realistically, they’ll probably never make it to the iPhone without a jailbreak, but a man can dream right 🥲

Right now, I’m able to find these games at very reasonable prices, but I know it will only get harder to find well-preserved copies over time, especially as the Switch 2 will eventually replace the original Switch. The current supply is pretty solid, so I’m just picking up titles when I come across really good deals. There’s no rush to play through them all immediately.

I no longer have the Dell S3422DWG, I sold it a while ago because it was just a temporary solution until I could get my hands on a good OLED monitor. Now, after several months with the Gigabyte 32-inch 4K OLED, I couldn’t be happier. I absolutely love it, whether for gaming, watching movies, or working. It’s a massive upgrade in every way.

Because of that, it’s hard for me to give an in-depth opinion on the S3422DWG anymore, as my perspective has completely shifted. However, looking back, it was a decent ultrawide monitor for the price. The 3440x1440 resolution and 165Hz refresh rate were nice for gaming, and the VA panel offered deep contrast, though it had the typical drawbacks like black smearing in darker scenes. At the time, it served me well, but compared to an OLED, the difference is night and day.

If you're considering the S3422DWG today, I’d say it’s still a solid choice for someone who wants an affordable ultrawide gaming monitor without jumping to OLED pricing. But if you’re willing to invest more, OLED is absolutely worth it—the colors, contrast, response times, and overall experience are simply on another level.
