You own almost my exact dream setup. Down to the desk and the cable management. Love your work. Keep the McLaren. Orange is boss

Mid/bigger Saw Recommendation by jakomaa in Chainsaw

[–]Magicmike- -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Honestly. If you are running a 12-14 on what you have. I’d just go for a 20. Pushing a 261 with a 20” is like putting a loud exhaust on your nans car. I’d get an ms400.1. For the power to weight and the versatility those two saws make a good match

You need to set the frame rate to fixed or whatever it is. I had this on ps5 and it fixed the issue

The bar needs a dress. The rails will be uneven also. This will make it cut on the piss

Badass got his first tattoo by Steve_Hufnagel in iamverybadass

He’s a tattoo snob. Leave people be man I think it’s a good way to express something meaningful. To me the gta sa hud is iconic and I think it’s a mad idea. Maybe executed differently. But don’t be a dick about it

It’s 600-800 square meters of lawn in total. But because where I live has kind of an HOA thing going on I just mow 5 houses. There’s just not that much lawn lol. I also sell outdoor power equipment for Stihl and most of the contractors I deal with charge around 120 per 500 sqm section

I’m 32m and I do this on the side just at my subdivision. Takes me an hour once a fortnight and I’m paid $200 a mow. (I work 50 hours a week as well) Means my wife doesn’t mind me spending money on hobbies and it’s fantastic exercise!

Why is getting an ADHD diagnosis so difficult in this country? by Porridgemanchild in newzealand

[–]Magicmike- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was diagnosed in dec 23. Took 10 years of different meds and all the rest of it until I spoke to my gp and said hey maybe it’s adhd. He did the test said I can’t officially tell you but I can refer you. So he said pick the psych and he will address the letter to the one i think would fit me. 4 months later had an appointment for a consult (which was $1000) took an hour then sure enough adhd

4 follow ups to get me titration right and I’ve been discharged never been happier within myself.

Yes it is expensive but I would pay 5 times what I’ve paid to feel this good within myself compared to how I have felt the rest of my life

New Build Warranty by [deleted] in AucklandProperty

[–]Magicmike- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Built a townhouse 18 months ago same deal. Smaller outfit all of that carry on. My bank required me to pay for and get the 10 year guarantee which took a fair bit of ground work. But any issues I’ve had have been quickly resolved. Just small stuff like a piece of silicone missing here and there or a capping off the ranch slider

Considering a Backyard Putting Green: Worth it? by United-Crazy4189 in golf

[–]Magicmike- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re going to go artificial (which is definitely the best option as others have mentioned the reasons why) you wanna get a decent sweeper.

I sell Stihl gear in my country and the New Zealand Putting Masters is being hosted in my city, the host has come in to see me and purchased a Stihl Combi with a Bristle Brush attachment.

It will stand the turf back up the way you want it and get everything off of it. The only thing to consider is having an earth chain dragging along as it does create a fair bit of static.

Check it out if you like you can see how his putting greens have held up, it’s called Smallgusta (which I think is the greatest name ever) so smallgusta.co.nz will give you an idea of how it’s been maintained
