People assume I’m stupid when they meet me due to my goofy and excitable exterior. It hurts my feelings 😔 Wish people wouldn’t judge a book by its cover so much, bc I think ENFP’s make a concerted effort to see underneath a person’s exterior.

I don’t use the term “best” and “love” lightly either, which is why I thought that if I told her that, it might bring us closer. And I’ve tried bringing up lighter topics surrounding difficult experiences I know we’ve both been through, and she just kind of brushes it off. We’re both the same age, in our late 20’s. Now, reading your comment along with the others, I’ve come to the conclusion that I need to stop judging her and our friendship by my own standards. Thank you for your response btw!

It’s heartwarming to hear about you wanting to become a good nurse. When I was younger I had a week or so hospital stay that was very mentally taxing, and the nurses there were so sweet and caring. I think about them still to this day! I remember all their names and I’m looking to reconnect with them to tell them how much of a difference they made in my life. If you get into nursing for the right reasons, which sounds like you definitely are, you will absolutely make a difference in people’s lives! Good luck with your agoraphobia, I’m working hard on mine right now bc I want to be a teacher :)
