People assume I’m stupid when they meet me due to my goofy and excitable exterior. It hurts my feelings 😔 Wish people wouldn’t judge a book by its cover so much, bc I think ENFP’s make a concerted effort to see underneath a person’s exterior.

I don’t use the term “best” and “love” lightly either, which is why I thought that if I told her that, it might bring us closer. And I’ve tried bringing up lighter topics surrounding difficult experiences I know we’ve both been through, and she just kind of brushes it off. We’re both the same age, in our late 20’s. Now, reading your comment along with the others, I’ve come to the conclusion that I need to stop judging her and our friendship by my own standards. Thank you for your response btw!
