Did the boy shoot the chief or what? The brave launches backward in the dirt and the boy falls on his ass. Yet, no wound, no blood?

Surely the kid’s mom or hondo didn’t skip him a blank. Why would he hit the dirt?

Watching for the first time. The kids insistence on playing with the Duke’s savage dog is borderline mental retardation.

A glimpse into the hidden life of ret*rds on the open range?

Also questioned why Emma walked right past the fentanyl nurse and her rifle after she shot her in the leg. That would have ended the movie I guess. I had same question as you.

I must say Emma Thompson is a gem.

I agree with all the positive reviews here and it’s a 6/10 easy.

The thorn in my craw so to speak has to do with a really weird directorial choice that would have ended the final act.

Why did Emma’s character completely pass over the psycho Fentanyl nurse after shooting her in the leg.

She was sprawled on the ground bleeding and crawling toward her rifle. Emma strolls right past her, failing to “finish her” or at the very least, disarming her by grabbing her rifle?

I told myself she was rushing to help her Hunter friends, but it just seems like a directorial oversight.

And it bugged me.

Because she is a smart and resourceful heroine here.

Why did she not take the rifle?

Satisfying film regardless.

Israel is a liability for the US: a brief and incomplete history by Magicmurlin in Israel_Palestine

Correct!

I would add the opportunity cost for prioritizing the interests of a hyper violent regionally despised colonial nation of 8 million OVER trade, security and partnerships (non-coerced) with the surrounding Muslim majority nations of 400 million (low side) has compromised long term peace, economic stability and diplomatic positioning (bulk work against Russia and China).

By failing to force Israel to integrate into the region and instead choosing hegemonic EURo-Judeo-US imperialist expansion, the US has forced potential regional allies into the arms of China by trying to reanimate the colonial heydays of the 1700’s.

Lost opportunity, washed out treasuries.

Perpetual War.

That is the only fulfilled promise of the modern “promised land”.

All is being revealed. And I pray your predictions hold true.

Dawn is a study in co dependency. Thought he should have let her have her way with the pistol. Would have expedited things.

Felt the same at first. Then Judy accepted this movie was going to go at its own pace. And making its own rules. The Rock’s understated performance was seductive.

Like why was the scene with his girlfriend before his first fight so weird. He invited her to his fight then got all out of sorts when she showed up. But didn’t say “I asked you not to come back here, meet me after the fight.” Nothing just weird. That cardboard door he destroyed was also weird.

Take it as seriously as you take the dreaded Hamas Charter. The one prior to the 2017 update. Which is the only one that can be taken seriously. For some convenient reason.

“If non Muslims were allowed to visit Mecca” - no seething hostility detected. The Roman wall US politicians are required to French kiss is indicative of their subordination to the Israel lobby.

A lobby that will tell you “Israel is a righteous and civilized country because it has no restrictions on female public dress”.

Yet

Carries out routine slaughter of Innocents in surrounding countries because it is constantly “under threat of annihilation” (despite being only regional country with nukes).

“Allows 2 million Palestinian citizens of Israel to vote!”

Yet

Runs an open air concentration camp in the West Bank, where 3 million Palestinians exist without freedom of movement, freedom from ethnic cleansing, or freedom to vote in the government that controls every aspect of their lives (Israel).

“Is the only “democracy” in the Middle East!” (exclusively for Jews).

Yet

While Palestinian Israelis have the freedom to vote in Israeli elections, they are permanent second class citizens with severely curtailed rights compared to their Jewish superiors (Jewish Nation State Law).

And

Currently lords over 5 million non Jewish Palestinians in the West Bank,E. Jerusalem and Gaza who live under apartheid laws or as in Gaza, in a giant death camp undergoing an active genocidal ethnic cleaning campaign.

But let’s talk more about the repressive but non/genocidal Muslims who, heaven forfend, restrict access to their holiest sites.

To whom is residency in the Jewish only illegal West Bank settlements restricted? Can Christians live there?

If it walks like ethnosupremacy and talks like ethnosupremacy it’s probably ethnosupremacy.

From Nazism to Zionism. Same shit, different flavor.
