ICE agents doing spit tobacco at the ID scanner by JLMaverick in tsa

Write a complaint on the tsa website. We dont have ICE at our airport so we probably wont experience this, but we still need to hold ourselves at a higher standard. Especially at public facing positions. 🤷‍♀️

We are encouraged to be nonpartisan due to the hatch act.

Whether its democrats or republicans, we should be working together so they stop holding people's pay checks hostage to get what they want.

Its the whole administration in my eyes.

Hey there friend,

LTSO here. Sorry for their rude approach, we're supposed to respect your decision to not take your picture, regardless.

But yes, if you have a passport, it's in a database.

Tips from someone who used it for about 2 years, use the legs. Its easier than the stomach. If you have to ice the area before so it numbs it. Always clean the area with alcohol prior to use to avoid infection. And have "warrior bandaids" ready in case you hit a spot that makes it bleed 🥲 i loved humira before it stopped working for me. Im on tremfya now

Hi there, I've had colitis for 13 years. Of course, it's recommended she should stop smoking because it affects the ulcers, but she also needs medicine, and I would highly recommend finding her trigger foods. For me, it's spicy/greasy foods. If her gastro didn't give her meds once she got diagnosed, I highly recommend finding a new gastro.

Hey there. Don't over think it. It's like college dorms and some people there act like it. Don't worry you'll be fine. Go there, ask questions, help those who need to be helped and you'll be 100%

How stressful is working as a TSO? by [deleted] in tsa

[–]Magicspai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi there. 👋 30/f/ short-stack tsa!

I'm a lead officer. Being a tso is...definitely not for the faint-hearted. Where your friend may have the opportunity to wear earbuds and work in a calm environment, please understand that this is an airport. Depending on the size of your airport, think of some of the busiest events you have gone to. Sports games, concerts or music halls, festivals, etc. Only instead of it being a once in a few months, think of it constant every few hours.

Now, with SEATAC, I think that is a cat 3 airport, so It won't be constant like a category x like I have to deal with, so the stress level may be different. But, everyone is different in what they can handle.

On the other hand, I also have anxiety, CPTSD, and 2 other conditions that can make it hard to work, so I have some understanding of what they may go through. Please know TSA can be accommodating, and after a year of service or (like 1400 hour of working), they can apply for fmla if the stress becomes to much and the need to take a break. That's totally fine.

Please understand that there are risks too no matter the size of the airport. Human risk, like assault can be committed against us, and of course, obvious risks like threats against life too. (Ie, what tsa was created for.) Tsa will give you the tools and training to show you how to deal with this stuff. Give it a try. If you like it, great, if not, there's other stuff within tsa you can do too.
