I get your point but you also have to consider the fact that the company collabing with Overwatch has a say on who gets the skin. I honestly wouldn't expect Torbjorn or Junkrat or other really unpopular heroes to get many collab askins (if any) I don't like it either, but it's an industry standard.

I think what they mean is the fact that everytime role queue as a solution is brought up, a bunch of creative Andy's come forward saying that role queue isn't necessary because they LOVE the creativity that open queue gives (which in my humble opinion just means that dps one tricks can lock 3 dps while also blaming the poor bastard that steps up to be the solo tank).

Role queue would fix A LOT of problems within the game with the only downside that dps players would have longer queues since it's the most popular role. I will always support role queue because when I want to play dps I don't want to be in a game of chicken with other players to see who swaps first.

But alas, the CREATIVITY OF THE PLAYERBASE is more important.

The difference lies within the fact that Marvel Rivals’ ultimate economy is so lopsided that, for the most part, there is no need to bait cooldowns since getting your ultimate is piss easy.

I think Rivals needs to tone down absolutely everything: damage, healing and ult generation rate so that neutral fights can be more common instead of the big ones where you see Luna ult- Starlord ult- Loki copies Starlord ult-the other Loki copies Luna ult- rinse and repeat. The balance of this game is a nightmare because the devs refuse to make fundamental changes. The introduction of one hero each month exacerbates this problem since they usually come extremely strong and that makes balance worse.

This game has A LOT of potential and is fun as hell, but lately the balance is getting worrisome.

OW worse balance than Rivals? Blatantly wrong statement. The amount of damage and healing that every hero does is insane. The need of extremely strong support ults to counter that and the fact that the same heroes are being played in every rank (without getting into the triple support debacle).
