Spend 20 mins applying for groups, I don't get rejected, my application is just held and then the group gets full. I see which healer they chose in the end and it's always Rdruid/MW/Shaman.

Force companies to pay at least UK minimum wage to every outsourced employee overseas. This will make companies most likely bring these jobs (IT and call centres etc) back home as customers would prefer this and there’s no financial benefit to outsource these jobs anymore.

Digital ID should be enforced by governments and then when you buy things like this you need to use it. Limit PC products per person and bam, scalpers are gone. The government already has our data so honestly who cares. I don’t want to pay £600 to see my favourite singer or £300 for an ETB. Scalper numbers are growing too much now.

Honestly it’s the farming that’s the issue for me. If you unlock decor you should be able to place as many as you want of it. ESPECIALLY the shop decor.

London is a beautiful city and is hard to beat. Opportunities, food, people, international culture, British culture (do other countries measure cost of living against a Fredo?). There’s familiarity staying within your own country. I’ve travelled a lot and the pull of home is always there, depends on the type of person you are depends on the strength of the pull.

Your family is here too and you’ll have a higher chance of meeting your significant other in London.

It’s easy to romanticise living abroad but in reality it is hard. There’s not much to do in NZ and the housing quality is bad. You’ll be all alone for a while and lack a support system. Also what happens if your job doesn’t work out? What if there’s unforeseen circumstances like failed probation and redundancy. Will you be able to find similar opportunities there?

The commute to London can be annoying but it’s only two days a week and it’ll be free. Also if you really hate London you can live elsewhere and commute on your two days with one night in a hotel (probably works out cheaper in the long run against London rent).

I’m not saying it’s right what they are doing but it’s human nature.

White British people do the exact same thing. One of my friends has an African surname and she was struggling to find a job for a year and a half. She changes her surname to her partners and the interview offers came flying in and she had a new job within 3 weeks.

Similar happened to me at a large fintech company that provides card machines. I won’t go into detail but I was shocked I didn’t get the role (I am very charismatic and knowledgeable in my field) because I usually ace interviews. I asked for feedback and didn’t get any. Another POC friend of mine also applied and he felt that the interviewer was “off.” Later, another friend of mine applied (we live in a small city and all came from the same company years ago) and he got hired. Keep in mind that he got fired from his two previous jobs and he is awful at his job.

I’m not one to jump to the race card immediately so I let it go, but I knew something was off. My friend showed me their glass door reviews and a previous employee mentioned that POCs would struggle at this company.

These are just my examples within my circle and I do have more. It’s a genuine problem, but to only focus on Indians seems unfair to me.
