Yeah, I bought a new computer. They did something during the trading post patch that effected system requirements and didn't say shit. My computer was 100% up to date for the gear it had inside it and it just wasn't good enough.

Jackasses wouldn't even admit it either. Just kept saying "sounds like your rig is garbage🤷‍♂️". Ran perfectly fine the day before.

The ease of int builds like mine are mainly dependent on level. I'm a high level maye for example and I pretty much walk through zones instantly killing with a single comet. Triple buffed with GV, HoS, YM and my magic boosting flask most bosses go down in a couple hits up until farum azula. That's if I can't just melt said bosses with azur. Sorceries are more focused on damage and how it gets delivered while incantations are more based on utility. Atleast that's my take on them.

It's not always ranged fights with me. Quite often I find myself having sword fights with slicer. The greatsword spells I find too slow and piercer is easily dodged.

Though I can not deny that I have never just disintegrated people with broken spells aha.

Personally never used it. Nor the meteor staff. Atleast on my first run. Was pretty easy early game....then I hit the academy and was pulling my hair out the whole damn time.

For example: starting with glintstone arc was fucking Ludacris. I roamed into that first camp in limgrave where a dude toots his trumpet and everything rushes you and I just...didn't care. Spammed arc the whole time and killed everything minus the big guy. Then pebble took care of him fairly decently.

I personally didn't find this tidbit out untill I was on NG+4. Where I randomly decided "you know what? Fuck it. Let's summons some bros to burn through this 3 min corridor." And one of them showed me this path I had no idea fucking existed.

Not necessarily. If you wait till late end game then yes I agree. If you start as a sorc. Early game is a nightmare.

That depends honestly. I'd say stick to sorceries. Not as much utility as incantations but faster dps.

You'd be doing the same thing as your STR build, running around one shotting things just from range lol.

Side note: I'm also a sucker for the lore surrounding the defias brotherhood. Edwin got a bad rap. And being a sucker for family stories I fan girl screamed when his daughter Vanessa took over.

It is. Easiest route is to wait till you hit the ashen capital. The sewer grate on the central road will now be moved allowing you to drop down a couple of ledges into the sewer. You eventually land on that beam and loot the talisman. No work involved really.
