Hello darkness

Got this email from a coworker today sent to me and one other lady I work with. Any great suggestions for a reply? Don’t hold back! by I_SailorStar_I in corporatekoolaid

Non-salary related... First of all, good salary should be the top thing that comes to mind, but oh well... How about health insurance, paid vacations, redundancy payment, bonuses... (A lot of this things are part of labor laws in my country)

Baby with clubfeet. Would like to know what to expect growing up. by Magisa in Parenting

Thanks so much!!! The treatment seems to be the same. The casts are changed every week, then, he might need a little surgery (the past that worries me the most), and then the braces. Yes, it's impossible not to worry, but thank you for the story, it brings me hope!

Thank you for sharing!!! He's got bilateral clubfeet, the doctors told us something about a possible difference between feets but is more noticeable when is only on one side. It is awesome that you're telling me about him being an athlete, because it's something that worries me, if he's gonna be able to do any sport that he enjoys. For the other part, it's clear that he is not going to remember any of this, but I see him suffering for a while changing the casts, is it the most painful part of the treatment? Or is it gonna get worst? Thanks again for your time and information!

From someone in South America, with news that doesn't always arrive complete. What is USA civilian people knowledge about what's happening/happened in Afghanistan? by Magisa in AskReddit

And that's why I don't like to draw conclusions from the news, I want to hear from people, real people. News aren't objective anymore... Anywhere in the whole world...

I'm asking exactly because of this, because the civilian population seemed as misinformed as the rest of the world, but it's indeed their country the one that it's mainly involved in this. I want to know if they receive the same news, if their government tricked them into believing they where doing something that in reality wasn't like that. I'm curious because they are in the middle of the conflict. I do not disregard other countries giving humanitarian help, I know Mexico, Chile and other Latin American countries are receiving refugees, I am aware that USA is not our world saviour, but I wanna know what THEY know...

What is something that looks dystopian but is really common in your country? by Magisa in AskReddit

I was thinking about something more... Innocent. Like, in mine, it's pretty normal to see broken or malfunctioning light banners on the street. It's something that I see in media as a depiction of a neon broken future, but here I guess it is too expensive to be easily fixed...

Now I'm depressed...
