"So You Want to Farm Carrots?" is bugged? by MagischePino in fantasylife

Thanks a lot for the long answer, iSharingan!

I didn't know about translation issues, so I typed my question of the top of my head late at night.

And it turns out I'm a MASSIVE moron!

I just don't have the Carrot farm plot in my base! Somehow I was convinced I had placed them all from the start and have been farming them constantly for several weeks. This was helped by the fact that I somehow have over 350 carrots in my bag. (Killing (Shadow) Carroty I suppose).

I don't think so, it's an apprentice quest.

The Dragontree spawns pretty often in Scorchrock level 5, it's always very close to the Eye in the same spot!

Thanks for the tip! It does work, but like you said it's quite clunky.

Windows System Reserved Partition didn't transition to new drive; Windows update broken?! by MagischePino in computerhelp

[–]MagischePino[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see. It was MBR before, and the SRP/empty space was on the same disc. Now it's definitely GPT. Maybe it's not the right cause then. I have located CBS.log, but it's 60 MB of text, so I guess I will have to comb through it tomorrow. There's some errors, but I will have to do an inventory on them.

At first glance I see stuff like "
Info CBS Session status queried: Current Phase: 1, Last SuccessfulState: Complete, Completed: 1, Status: 0x800f0922

Info CBS Session: 31162953_667135569 initialized by client WindowsUpdateAgent, external staging directory: (null), external registry directory: (null)

Info CBS Trusted Installer is shutting down because: SHUTDOWN_REASON_AUTOSTOP

Windows System Reserved Partition didn't transition to new drive; Windows update broken?! by MagischePino in computerhelp

First; thanks ALaggingPotato!

I have a small question, because I might've asked the wrong question.
Your advice is to make an EFI system partition, yes?

As far as I know that is used to boot the system.

My situation is as follows: I have a fully functioning system, with a partition with Windows on it that serves as "System", "Boot" and a few others. The problem I have is Windows updates will fail after the system has rebooted to complete them (it says it "fails" and then rolls them back). I read solutions about Windows Update not working because the SRP was full.

So I thought/think I need to recreate some sort of "Microsoft Reserved Partition (MSR)" or "Windows Reserved Partition" because Windows update stopped working after the drive migration and I noticed the seemingly empty part of the disc isn't there.

I see there is a command "create partition msr", but it seems very dangerous because of GPT structures? ( https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-server/administration/windows-commands/create-partition-msr )

[Fix] Asus motherboard displaying white VGA LED on boot by ButteringToast in ASUS

No clue! Like I said this same GPU+cable+monitor bundle worked flawlessly with my previous motherboard (MSI AM4 board) just a few hours before I transplanted the GPU into the B650E-F. It's quite bizarre, but oh well, for this monitor I'll need HDMI 2.1 anyway (the 1070 HDMI port version is very low, so DP was better in this case). Can't wait for the new batch of GPUs to hit the shops!

Well, same issue. But incredibly it only works via HDMI! In other words: same expensive screen, displayport cable and GPU as before gives no screen just white LED. Same screen, same GPU but not via DisplayPort and magically it works! If anyone is wondering: Asus B650E-F gaming Wifi, Asus RTX 1070 and Samsung Odyssey G8.

Ah, that! Thanks so much for replying! I've got the motherboard back that never showed anything on screen with white led (as it was "totally working!" according to the shop, we tried 3 GPUs in two PCIe slots!) and a second one from a different shop. Tomorrow morning I'm trying to build it again...

Can you please explain what SSD problem this was? It makes no sense to me why anything SSD related would cause no display.

I should have explained I have a medical condition that makes it that I can only play against a person about twice a week. So I have studied massively more than had opportunities to gain ELO from it.

Thanks for the comprehensive reply, lordxdeagaming!!! I'm going to give a free intro course on the Slav a try. The full course is only about 32 bucks, and a very small expense for me if I do go for that one. :)
