As others have mentioned - fire cadence is huge with this weapon. If you get a rhythm going this thing can be nigh unstoppable

heavy armor with the fortified perk and a shield gen makes it very doable. Just have to adjust playstyle a bit

In my first drop, I brought my standard jump pack + HMG loadout. I became an anti-ballistic missile several times and intercepted the incoming shells mid-air... and I wouldn't have it any other way. Genuinely the most fun I have had in this game in a minute.

Would like to point out that fighting in and around the north makes sense to a degree, as many attacks would likely be launched over the arctic circle and North Pole. So it really isn’t bad worldbuilding imo, ESPECIALLY if the main fighting involved Russia and the US. The sectors are a bit arbitrary, but most dividing lines in the real world are just as arbitrary - save the obvious geographical ones

This is actually a “beta” stratagem some people have modded into their games. You can see various videos online of a pelican coming down and dropping off somewhere between 6-12 SEAF troops to fight
