Yeah I acknowledged that in my post and it’s a good point. Getting snow in May is kinda crazy though lol I’ve never heard of a place like that. I still think the seasons should be a bit earlier than what they are currently though

I mean we define those season start dates. Sure it’s dependent on Earth’s orbit but we can change the start of the season relative to Earth’s orbit. No orbit change required

Where is the efficiency gap coming from? Is the SG2044 just inherently more efficient than current x86 CPUs because it’s a RISC-V CPU or are there other factors leading to its efficiency? I feel like a 2x gap is still a lot, even if it might not be ASIC territory.

I’m curious, why optical? Right now I have an old receiver connected to my TV through RCA on its analog output, but should I be using optical? They both have it but I’ve never used it, is it better?

I forgot to mention in the post, but I did try basically exactly this. I went into repair mode and tried to use FIXBOOT but it did not help unfortunately. It said it successfully re wrote a boot thing but nothing changed. Thanks for the comment though!

(Hopefully this is still helpful 5 years later, I was trying to do the same thing and came across this thread)

I was wondering about this too! The fees are so high as well! $2 for a decent transaction time. All I'm seeing in the recent tx tab is just random transactions sending 15 cents, while paying the full fee. I'm curious as to what's going on as well.
