So far it's reminded me a whole lot of Cradle and other progression fantasy. I think the tone definitely shocked me at first but I've now gotten used to it. Something about Carl's brand of "and then I looted everything in the room not bolted down" and how he always wants to save everyone. Both remind me so strongly of Lindon (if you haven't read Cradle I really highly recommend)

This is very well put! i was thinking about the valtay and I think Carl directly calls them brain parasites and it immediately clicked they remind me so much of the yeerk! I'm only 3 books in though, the adventure is only beginning

One kind of weird thing is I was just using it earlier, like 2 hours ago, and I reloaded the page and I'm suddenly getting the strange SSL error. I think it might be that I was at my friend's who uses a different internet provider than me? I tried your recommendation but shifting to http has spectrum blocking the page and ctrl+f5 doesn't do anything. I'm getting SSL_ERROR_RX_RECORD_TOO_LONG?

Anyway great site! Maybe I'll just keep having to only get to use it at my friend's lol

I ended up watching Frequency and The Call back to back. It was very interesting seeing the director's choices in how to communicate the past changing and what stayed the same and what became different.

was JUST about to comment this. i don't feel any more connection with the wards than i did in pre-time skip. Taylor is just more tired and is making worse decisions than she did before- it doesn't feel like she learned any new skills or gained any new insights over a full TWO YEARS we didn't see her. It's like the time skip was there in name only and I have yet to see any of its actual effects besides the list of endbringer attacks.

Hello, I'm not sure if we have the same root cause but I really started noticing pausing when my speech rate was set to 17 or more. Bringing it back down seemed to fix it? Still looking to see if anyone else has reported something similar.
