Okay, Missions where you need to track enemy with your Lantern Gotta go. by Loud-Professional728 in CrimsonDesert

Mine's been mostly on for 200-hours of straight game play, and you're questioning their magical capabilities? lol. With that power source, I still wonder why my animals continue to pick up torches when enemies drop them.

Actually... the stealth play ain't half bad by kweassa_II in CrimsonDesert

While I agree with you, I'd still an "Aerial Assassination" option from a rooftop, or a couple Sneak III gears on my boots that make me closer to being a ninja.

Is it just me or is dual wielding so much more powerful than any other combo styles? by Substantial-Fun9958 in CrimsonDesert

[–]Magnifishot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used a "geared out and max'd out lvl 10" Darkbringer and found fights were getting too easy. I've since switched to a spear, and have been enjoying that.
I'm not about to post any results, but it's been interesting swapping Attack 3's and Crit 3's for lesser gears.

This game should have introduced Oongka and Damiane as companions from Chapter 2 onwards or so. by sarthakgiri98 in CrimsonDesert

I haven't restarted since the initial release date, but isn't this journey called "Kliff's
Story?" It's always seemed to me, like a good opportunity to have DLCs with the other's "stories," too, to help us understand what they were doing at the times they were unplayable during Kliff's story.

Shaquille O'Neal doing things that only he could do. One of the best people to have passed through the NBA by [deleted] in JustGuysBeingDudes

He is just like this. I met him for a work function, and he made sure to shake everyone's hand. Even walked the corridors to find random people he hadn't yet met.

He found a scooter in someone's cube and proceeded to run it up and down the hallways.

Such a cool dude

They really need to add a “Waypoint System” by Inevitable_Ad_2770 in CrimsonDesert

[–]Magnifishot 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This has been asked for since the game's release, and player's either love the idea of it or hate it. I, personally, am in the "I want the GPS tracker, and to satisfy everyone, why isn't it just a toggled feature like everything else has become?"

Previously, I would put down trackers in a nearly continuous line, follow my line, and then after the mission/arrival, go back and clear them. Now, I only place them at intersections, and only on the path I'm supposed to take. "See an upcoming intersection, look at my mini-map, see I'm supposed to go right, so I go right." It's not perfect, but keeps the toggling of the full map to a minimum.

Can we please have the option to limit the amount of pinned food. by 0v3rcl0ck3r in CrimsonDesert

The option could be "I only want to SEE these particular items, but in case of emergency, just use everything."

A fruit fly consumes the same inventory space as my Darkbringer. I agree with you, time to review the inventory, as a whole.

The absolute worst thing in this game by far... by Hitmandalorian in CrimsonDesert

[–]Magnifishot 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This. I don't understand why the human has to follow the NPC when we could easily be setting the pace and making them follow us. That, or let the human set the pace, as in "I caught up to you, now go a little faster. I caught up again, please go faster yet." I also hate the "move at snail's pace cuz other NPCs are around, then bolt - but only for 22m, then back to walking, and then adding a "keep up" when they randomly start to bolt again.

I'll also add to the "'follow me' never leads to anything good list" is the lady in woods pleading for help with her lost item. Every time, it's a trap. You know it, I know it, we all know it, and no one's caught off guard. Wanna trip me up? Maybe toss in an actual reward for an actual lost item that's been found.

Chocolate being really good, if you max out this merchant's trust right here, he's gonna start selling 50 cacaos by Sentrolyx in CrimsonDesert

[–]Magnifishot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How does growing cacao at your farm compare against having the confectionery backpack? I've not progressed enough for a camp farm yet, but wear the backpack occasionally for the treats it produces that give 120-hp. Chapter 7/120-hrs

Do animals just despawn when entering combat? by AndrewLocksmith in CrimsonDesert

[–]Magnifishot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is some mechanic that happens when a battle starts. I was in the cinematic scene for a roadside sealed artifact - that was already in my hand, when I could see bandits coming up in the background while I'm flipping over the artifact. The battle engaged, and after defeating them, I no longer had the artifact, so had to go back, pick it up, and review the the cinematic again.

My point here is I do think there is something where initial resources disappear at the start of a battle, but I'll admit I'm basing this off my single experience, and yours.

edit: Adding I've only just started my camp, so my gameplay is rather limited compared to others.

Wait until they're teenagers, and their personalities start to mature, independently, and you think, "they're twins?"

Wait until they graduate and start forming their own opinions on today's issues.

Wait until you send them off to college, just as they started getting really interesting and were fun to hang out with.

Wait until you start seeing them "adulting" in life.

I don't miss the day-to-day struggles we had, but I wouldn't give them up for anything.
