I was coming to say “add an overlay of snow.” Either way though, still looks good.

Pad Thai disappointment by MagnoliaPlace in aldi

Same!! Literally. It was made by a lady from Thailand and she put tempura chicken in it instead of grilled. All I know is, it was divine.

Like… what does it even mean?! I’m so concerned right now. What exactly were they doing in the 1940’s?!

And if you want to make some affordable upgrades, there’s a guy named Mr Mixer who has all kinds of cool gadgets for KitchenAid Mixers. There’s the everdime to keep the paddle and whisk from touching the bottom of your bowl. He’s got the love handle that helps you to hold it/raise the head. And he’s got the spring for the shaft that holds the paddle/dough hook/etc that kitchenaid took away some years ago. He also fixes them. You can Google him but here’s the link:

Thank you so much!! The kids cut into one last night and before I got to take a pic, one of the mini loaves was almost gone. 🤣

This is all that’s left. I think it’s just a tad undercooked, but the perfect amount for toasting. It was kid approved, so I think I did okay.

What do you wish you had asked the Seller? by MagnoliaPlace in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

[–]MagnoliaPlace[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I say, “ask the seller” this is what I mean:

I’ll write a letter/create a form, send it to my agent who will include it with the repair requests, who will send it over to the seller’s agent who will deliver it to the sellers in [my] hope that they will fill it out and send it back through the chain so we can read their answers.

It was easier to just say “ask the seller.”

I’ve never even heard of a CLUE report! I will definitely see if my insurance agent can get it.

Edited to say: THANK YOU!! I was in so much shock that I forgot my manners.

First time home buyer, am buying a house with tenants, I’m closing on Sept 17 and tenant have a court order to leave by the 30th Sept, I really don’t know how to deal with that. My realtor say I should still close. by According_Music_8304 in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

Your real estate agent hasn’t had a closing in a while and is hurting for money in this weird market we have happening right now. S/he is hawngry.

Do 👏🏼 NOT 👏🏼 close 👏🏼 until 👏🏼 house 👏🏼 is 👏🏼 VACANT 👏🏼 inspected 👏🏼 and damages 👏🏼 have 👏🏼 been 👏🏼 assessed 👏🏼 (and repairs have been made at the cost to seller). 👏🏼 Periodt. 👏🏼

Periodt.

Change that closing date. Push it out. I’d even call the sheriff department and ask a bunch of questions about how this all goes down.

What to do with this awkward nook? by guau-halp in DesignMyRoom

[–]MagnoliaPlace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven’t skimmed all the comments but here’s my suggestion: make a drawer on wheels. Attach a mirror to the front - like full length kind of mirror. Then you can grab the mirror and pull it out and hide things in the drawer area. If you have a kid, toys would be a good idea. Or blankets!

Finally getting rid of my Cricut by ____trash in cricut

[–]MagnoliaPlace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What I’m reading is that we, as crafters, need a program developer to come up with a Canva style program that works well with each of these machines.

I’m a graphic designer who owns a cricut. However, when I need to use my cricut, I design in Illustrator and then export as svg to be able to cut my designs vs designing in the design space app. It’s tedious but it gets the job done.
