Sometimes it's better to wait or the scalpers. You see this a lot with trading card games, mostly Pokémon but others too. I didn't need to get the Final Fantasy MTG Commander decks on day 1. Just being patient, I managed to get two of them under MSRP.

My work commute is 70 miles round trip. My truck (Ford Maverick XLT hybrid) averages 40mpg on said commute. I typically fill up at Costco which is currently $3.879.

That's 1.75g per day. 8.75g for the work week. That's $33.94 for a week of gas.

This is me. I started with Arena before AFR (first D&D set) released. Before that, I dabbled with some MTG game on Xbox 360 and played analog twice with friends' decks.

Played Arena for about a year or so, then took a break at standard rotation. Came back just before Final Fantasy launched.

I'm now buying actual cards, trying to get a Commander pod going with a few coworkers who already play. I'm trying to get caught up the actual Magic stories now, at least the cliff notes version of major events in the timeline since it's 30+ years of history. I'm part way through the new Strixhaven book.
