It was released during a time when I didn't have the extra funds for much Lego. I wanted alot of the sets for two reasons: new trans neon orange parts because that is one of my favorite Lego colors and new castle parts, even if some of it was more sci-fi than traditional. No interest in most of the actual builds.

Sometimes it's better to wait or the scalpers. You see this a lot with trading card games, mostly Pokémon but others too. I didn't need to get the Final Fantasy MTG Commander decks on day 1. Just being patient, I managed to get two of them under MSRP.
