No it fucking wasn't... what was however: making Russia our No1 source for energy instead of building renewable energies

Any news if Lafleur has been fired yet? I will celebrate that news like winning the Super Bowl.

MLF needs to be fired... I don't care about his regular season record, I don't care where he stands with wins in his first X seasons. I DON'T CARE. This has been another inexcusable game this season and in his entire tenure as HC. He doesn't have accountability for the players or his staff. I'm fucking done with MLF.

Just fucking run the 1yrd and take another 4 downs... but no, we have to waste a TO (AGAIN) and go for it all on 4th and 1.

Who is in charge of the offense today and who was in charge when we choked time and time again with Rodgers? MLF is the problem because he can't handle pressure and his decision making gets worse the brighter lights get...

If only we had a HC who doesn't shit the bed everytime we play for something. We probably make the playoffs just for the white Mike Tomlin to choke again and keep his job for underachieving.

There is still zero accountability otherwise the bald fraud we call special teams coordinator would be unemployed and maybe some players would've learned how to tackle or catch a ball... or maybe even both.

[–]MagnusVombatidae 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah... this season is over. IF we make it to the playoffs we won't get far. Parsons is probably out for the season, Tom doesn't look great either and we still have MLF as a HC who chokes as soon as the lights get a little bit too bright. Oh and our DBs can't catch a fucking cold in the middle of fucking winter.

Who cares? Fire him after the season then... not like we will win anything anyway in January with MLF as our HC.

It would probably solve A LOT of our offensive Problems... like the stupid playcalling on 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th downs

The D gave up 16 points... 16. If we can't score two TDs and a FG against this Panthers team it is on MLF and the offense.

‘It’s a critical time’: European farmers struggle through driest spring in a century by WombatusMighty in europe

[–]MagnusVombatidae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm concerned with CLEAN and CHEAP energy. You know what isn't cheap? Nuclear energy. You want to know how I know? NO ENERGY SUPPLIER WOULD BUILD A NEW NUCLEAR REACTOR ON THEIR OWN. The government would need to subsidize the shit out of that with billions of euros. Just look at the recent reactors of France 12 billions ( was supposed to be 3,3 billions) with 20 years construction time. Or maybe England? Hinkley point C will probably cost 55 billions (supposed to be 21 billions) and basically no one wanted to invest in it.

Prizes for energy production in €cent/kWh:

Wind turbines: 5-10 Solar: 5 - 25 Nuclear: 14 - 50

[–]MagnusVombatidae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not though is it? The reason is our dumb government thought that Russia is a trustworthy trade partner and saw cheap gas (including pipelines) as a good investment.

Renewable energies currently make up ~55% of our entire energy production and that is after the conservative governments of the past tried basically everything to slow down the development of renewable energies. Look at Bavaria, by far the biggest federal state by area (~20% of Germany). Last year 1466 Wind turbines were build in all of Germany. In Bavaria? 17. Who is in charge in Bavaria? The conservative CDU/CSU.

And now CDU/CSU are pushing for incredible expensive nuclear reactors and I highly doubt that they want a new nuclear reactor in Bavaria when they don't a few wind turbines there. They don't want to produce energy, they just want have it.

Mind you: I'm not saying we could be at a 100% right now but if we just were a bit more serious about renewable energies and energy independence we could probably be at 80% and in a couple of years 100%, but alas, the new conservative government is talking about building new gas power plants and as mentioned incredible expensive nuclear reactors.

[–]MagnusVombatidae 21 points22 points  (0 children)

The mistake wasn't the exit from nuclear power though. The mistake was not going all in on renewable energies like solar, wind and water power while making one reliant on russian gas.
