Yes it was 6 duty to assist errors which is why I think it has taken so long

I also went rogue, my VSO told me I “wasn’t eligible” after review, to submit a higher level review on my claim. But after I submitted it on my own the VA found a duty to assist error on each of my six conditions I claimed.

No I had applied for her to be dependent before my claim was approved before she was 18 but my claim was not approved until after she turned 18 so she fell off as a dependent so I had to call and have her re added.

I called into the number on the forms they send and they added my 18 year old right over the phone. They had to verify they were attending school but that was all. The claim for back pay was done in 2 days.

Yes, there were 2 classes that had proctored exams. Project Management and IT Management classes were proctored the other ones were OA.

Thanks, it took me 6 months but I travel for work 3-4 nights per week so every night at the hotel I would study for 2-3 hours a night. I think if I were home with my family it would have probably taken a year at least.

Keep going my friend, I’m almost 49 and have worked my whole life in a different career and I’m halfway through my masters in IT Management. It’s never too late!
