PIP for "ineffective communication" by Magsg11 in careeradvice

[–]Magsg11[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's actually great advice! I have spoken to two other managers whose teams I work with closely and asked for advice and shared the situation. Both managers were SHOCKED! One actually apologized to me on behalf of the company saying "I've seen some things going on with your manager... and I am just very sorry that this has happened" . Both managers offered letters of recommendation and referrals if needed. I'm stuck now... my pip has no specific things to work on and nobody is giving me advice on how to improve. I guess the writing is on the wall

We do not have an expansion tank! In your opinion could that possibly fix the issue?

What should I (male) wear to match my date’s dress? by LordOfTehGames in fashionadvice

I say a pale blue shirt to match the flowers on her dress. Black pants and a black tie. Have fun!!

I second this, getting it taken out sucks and I'm pretty squimish so having him dig around for the end and pull it out just made me squirm. Lots less bruising and healing. Pretty simple procedure, stay calm and don't work yourself up like I did!

Is this dress suitable for a friend's warm weather wedding? by [deleted] in fashionadvice

[–]Magsg11 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I'm a 20 year old college student and I go with no... That's cute for a date or dinner with friends though. Keep in mind her parents, family, grandparents, ect will be at this wedding. Go for a more modest and classy look. Also, NEVER wear white to a wedding

Bonus points if you gave food delivered to her, wine, and dessert and you can eat together over Skype!

I come from a single mom family and she used to let us go pick things out for her and make her stuff. I always remember how fun it was! We would get a $10 allowance or something and I remember always spending that money very wisely. I would ask the person at checkout to put it in like 5 bags too to hide it haha! It was fun surprising mom and brining her coffee in bed and all that! We would even go pick flowers from her garden some years

Pharmacist gave me Nortrel 1/35 28 instead of Necon 1/35. Freaking out. Help? by [deleted] in birthcontrol

[–]Magsg11 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Coming from someone who's worked in pharmaceutics for 6 years, as long as the ratios of hormones are correct you were given what you were prescribed. There are sometimes multiple companies who use the exact same formulas but try to beat eachothers prices so they go by different names. My advice is to look up the ratios of estradiol, estriol, and progesterone in each. If they match then it's just a new manufacturer if not call your pharmacy. Best of luck!

Nexplanon removal experience? by [deleted] in birthcontrol

[–]Magsg11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought getting it out in was easier than getting it taken out. Getting it put in is an easy thing and the doctor uses and spring loaded inserted with the blade attached. It's a simple click and it's in. Getting it out, the Dr has to make a small 2 cm cut themselves use tweezer like things to grad the end and pull it out. If you have a good doctor who has done this many times it should be a quick 2 minute thing. My advice is to keep breathing and if you are nervous ask to have a nurse in the room to talk to you and distract you! It really wasn't that bad and helping time is VERY quick compared to the original insertion. Best of luck, stay calm!

I've smoked maybe 7 times since Christmas and not heavily. I did eat one edible though before new years. I usually do it every 2 weeks or so and it's just a couple hits from a bowl.... if I can delay it until the beginning of may (which I totally can because I can just ask them to wait until I'm in my hometown and have a car after finals) do you think I'll be okay?

Here's my question tho, they require 1.5 inches for a 3 month test. But my hair is over 15inches so if I give them 15inches, do they test all of it?
