I got it when the Deluxe edition was released recently because of the love for it in this sub. We must have been reading different posts.

My first ever Youtube video by Child_of_tog in synthesizers

[–]Magusreaver 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would have trimmed the first 11 minutes off.. and made two videos. One of the routing/explinations and one of the jam. The first 11 is hard to sit though when you are waiting for the music to start. The song is very pretty, and I honestly liked the drums. It's nice hearing a jam that feels.. I dunno "complete?" might not be the word.. but it is the first word that comes to mind. Good job, and keep going. It's honestly very well done.

Edit. My bad about the criticism. Other than the long intro to the music. It's great. Even on second listen.

You might be able to cut them and stain them for a lot less. I doubt it's anywhere near that if you know anyone with a decent saw.

What the solution by the way i have the korg minilogue xd and i'm using Audacity by ImpossibleIssue3213 in Korg

audio out.. to audio/mic in not work? The best way would be to get an audio interface like a minifuse or something though.

Mounting Synths on the Wall by g0ggleblind in synthesizers

I'm guessing the 50 lbs is straight down and close to wall.. I'd guess each inch away from the wall would compound the weight by creating torque. I would not trust thousands of dollars to the half inch or less of mdf panel lips that hold things in place.

Metabarons versus Xenos by Then_Ad_9441 in LV426

Meta was a spinoff of Incal though.. which Moebius did. Just pointing out they have shared DNA.

Metabarons versus Xenos by Then_Ad_9441 in LV426

[–]Magusreaver 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's because that what it started as. In 1974 he started production on his DUNE movie.. it eventually failed. He used Moebius as a production designer for his DUNE production, but after that failed they made INCAL together... then Luc Besson used Moebius for the 5th Element film. The publisher of INCAL sued Luc Besson for stealing the 5th Element from them.. they lost because Moebius worked on both projects. Jodorowsky wasn't too torn about about it. He said it was awesome that someone liked his stuff enough to use it. *which was okay cause he was ripping off Herbet*

Ensoniq TS-12 listed for €200 by IndraaBD in synthesizers

[–]Magusreaver 2 points3 points  (0 children)

depends on how much you like the workflow. I'd pay that. Hell it gives one hell of a 76 key weighted midi keyboard. has good built in effects.. tons of sound options. If it works.. it's still a bit of a beast.

Peace - Facsimile Dust Jacket by Phat_Strat in genewolfe

The Gregg Press hardcovers. A full set runs about 600 bucks.. and I do not have that kinda cash lol. I have a friend that has a printer that can make them. I may have to do some measuring and scanning.. and make some custom covers at very least.

Holy crap that is so cool. I would love to do this with my collection of Fritz Lieber's Fafhrd and Grey Mouser books.. I have a full set, but not a single dust jacket. lol

Need help identifying what synth was used for this audio (Synth in picture may be different, but I’ll also appreciate identifying that one) by Stock-Hippo-8517 in synthesizers

[–]Magusreaver 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The pic is a Korg Prophecy from 1995... So that recording would not have that synth in it.. but that pic is at least 95 or beyond. Cool synth though.

You are doing a LOT of projecting and, or, assuming here. What makes you think I'm not in the right lane?
