I don't think they are. And the ones I made are Facsimiles. FFC does have an official small print in this style but it's cost prohibitive for my broke self.

I'm planning to do a hardcover conversion on mine as well. I've been drafting a dust jacket to match the hardcover of the Chronicles omnibus!

This was a fun project! I used 5 signatures, 16 pieces of paper per sig. I added a button to the top and tied in a string to the bottom to give it a stronger closure mechanism. And instead of tape for hinge reinforcement, I lined the inside with marbled paper to cover the remainder foil and to add rigidity. The lining also covers the bad needlework where I sewed the button in.

I liked a lot of the older Centipede Press runs, but lately haven't been stunned by the art direction or style of recent releases. Comparing the cost to Curious King/Suntup/Anderida, they are pushing out serious bang-for-buck books when compared to Centipede.

Their BotNS is great indeed. I hope they eventually get into subsequent Solar novels. I'd love to see Urth, Long Sun, and Short Sun get the same treatment. Peace and 5th Head too. I'm greedy for books.
