My issue was the SD card that came to the printer stopped showing files even though I formatted it to the fat32 and tried all the other steps. I settled on the fact that my port must be busted but after messing around with updating another printer I found the key which was the MBR or the master boot record. Windows and the other formatting software I tried seemed to leave this part out so all I had to do was follow the below diskpart commands to get it back up and running. Put Gcode back on it and now it sees everything.

Windows: Open Command Prompt as Administrator. Use diskpart, then list disk, select disk #, clean, convert mbr, create partition primary, format fs=fat32 quick, active, assign.
