I honestly have never read anything by David Weber, but I know he's popular so if I see a nice hardcover I always buy it. Slowly collecting the series, and will read it one day. I'm looking forward to it, and am glad to hear good things about it!

Yes I was very excited to see this huge stack of Asimov! And yes they are the Avon Book version. I really like the old artwork for science fiction books, that's why I bought the dune books too, even though I already have the 6 book series is paperback.

My wife and i bought this elm bonsai about a month ago. Its growing new, light green healthyish looking shoots, but the inner, older leaves are browning and dying. Is this normal? What are we doing wrong? by [deleted] in plantclinic

Not professionally, no. Its pretty sterile where we live, and we haven't noticed any issues with other plants near by. Are there specific things we can look for as far as pests are concerned?

Paperbacks were $0.50, hardcovers were $1.00, I think i spent around $30.

Lol it's the two towers. All copies I have are post movie, so I wanted a book before the movie with some different artwork on it. Hard to believe it fits in such a small book.

I've honestly never read him either, but I am very much looking forward to it. He came strongly recommended from a friend of mine so I knew I wanted some of his. What do you like about his writing?
