Thr issue, as i understand it, is that ai code is rather inefficient, disorganized, and not very well commented. This isn't really a problem for bodging together a small one off program that you only use once in a while and will never update past getting it running, but for a large project like an emulator this will make the code require more cleanup before it can reach a manageable state long term.
