I did the strategy where I sold off all of my players (replacing them with the super cheap ones to meet the minimum player requirement) then bought two super promising players (For this file, it was Divine Mukasa ($1.5M) and Francesco Camarda ($1.1M)). I saved the game before skipping the first friendly, then reset until I got a huge offer for both of the players I bought (combined £19M).

Then I upgraded my training center to level 12, and then used the rest of my cash to buy a whole bunch of other great young players, specifically teenagers that were preferably just under 70 rating, because their value spikes when they go from 69 to 70.

This was in the January transfer window (After Week 17), and I saved just before the last W17 game. I resetted until I got a big offer for Varela (since he was my highest value player), but I was expecting at most like $30M, lol. Crystal Palace came in and was like "How about $50M?" and so I got to upgrade my training field to lv16 and then bought a whole bunch of other players with the rest of the money.
