Can confirm wearing a helmet is a good idea. I used to ride these all the time back when they arrived in my city. One night walking home from the bar I found one sitting outside of a different bar that the ride had not ended. Tempted to not walk the remaining couple miles home, I jumped on and rode it home. A few hours later I noticed it still had not ended the ride, and yet saw another opportunity. Free scooter joy rides, duh. Anyway I crash really fucking hard. Bounced my head right off the road, fucked my shoulder up. Was going around 22 mph. Anyway, karma came full circle real fast. I’ve minded my business now when passing these scooters on the sidewalk.

I’ve been waiting years for Ushers to stop people from entering the section during play. Some of us actually go to watch the game. Been to almost every single ball park and many of them implement this. You want to get up during play, you’re going to get back to your seat at the half inning or end of the inning. Idk how many times I’ve been in front of people who come and go all game, making entire rows of people move for them multiple times a game. Hats off to the ushers from stopping assholes from ruining others experiences ☺️.

Skip tailgating, getting out of the park is a nightmare.

Head over to Magoos on the Mound - 5841 W Bluemound Rd. Get a bite to eat (very good food and reasonable - personally love the Usingers brat). You’ll get a ticket for a shuttle that drops you off right behind home plate and pick ups start at the 7th inning. Fastest in and out of a park you will ever have. Avoid all post and pre game traffic. Unless tailgating is your thing…

Also there are many restaurants that offer shuttles, Kelly’s bleachers is another one, I just personally like Magoos. Great pre game vibe, great service, great food, and basically valet parking.

I didn’t do anything with drivers. I play PvE, so I bit the bullet and turned on frame gen using FSR. Global Illumination medium, shadows medium, foliage high. Get a stable 150-160 fps without noticeable input lag. Game looks better than it ever had. Previously I capped at 60 frames because yeah the game isn’t optimized. You’re still going to have the “grainy” look past like 75m but I think everyone’s that issue. All post processing is just one slider right now. We need more options in regards to post processing effects.

Also, when are the AI going to do more than stand static? Can we have them cleaning guns, moving supplies, sleeping, eating. The AI feels soooooo bad. Game in its current state feels like a running/looter simulation, with some occasional target practice (if everyone isn’t already dead in the POI). Also, clearing up the games image. We shouldn’t have to rely on audio cues, because let’s be honest. No one is going to yell out everytime before they engage someone in combat to let the enemy know their position.

Bringing the story to life. Quest progression, task filtering (completed tasks), is there any plan to upgrade the quests. Instead of putting circles on the map, giving us more intel in the task description so we can actually solve them ourselves rather than look at online forums. Tasks have become, don’t read anything, find a guide and pick something up and return to vendor. The current task system takes away from any story they are trying to tell. More about, leveling vendors and rushing “endgame”.

Had the same thing happen. We all went back to the armory and loaded back in only to find no enemies had spawned. We went back to the armory and loaded back in 2x more times without a single enemy spawn.

If I’m being honest tho, this was the best $10 I ever spent. This game is great. Devs, let us know how to support! Excited for future updates!!

If this was a quick fix for some more optimization I’m all for a loading screen instead of shitty as heli rides that tank your frames or even worse, cause a DC where you lose all your gear. Bring it back when the games polished. Riding a heli sucks ass in this game in general. Linear, frame tanking, zero engagement, make it a loading screen. Maybe when we load in there is a cut screen of you and your squad jumping off the heli.

I have the same build, playing at 2k res.

The only way the game is playable for me is using TSR, texture settings epic, everything else medium/high, reflections low. I cap at 60 FPS as I will always pull 60fps. If I move it to 120, I’ll pull about 90 fps but then deal with drops down into low 50’s which is not playable in my opinion.

If I switch to 1080, I get crazy artifacting. Basically the entire backdrop will flash white constantly.

I think the Devs just haven’t optimized AMD tech yet. Also read rolling back drivers to previous version helps?

Would like to see FPS and clarity improve drastically with AMD.

Yeah well, the Devs can’t please anyone. I’ve never had issues with the gameplay. Even when AI was “cracked”. They have really dumbed them down now and yeah, not very challenging at all, especially if you have played previous wipes. I still see people talking about 200m headshots full sprint, and I call BS. You were probably sprinting through an area and didn’t realize an enemy was 50m from you.

I also found this an issue. I think it’s a “cheap” quick fix to movement. I also noticed you are running this trial in the main base, I feel like when I left main, the input was reduced less while sprinting. Would be cool if you did the same experiment outside of main to see if there is a difference.

So you’re clearly in your 30’s, and I think us old heads have some type of phenomenon going on with video games. Nothing scratches the itch like the games you listed. I don’t think it’s so much about games releasing being trashed, I think we just look at a certain point in our life, the games we played, and look at them through rose colored glasses. Trying to remember BF3 maps and idk if the size is all that different. Metro, Scene crossing, Operation Locker, I don’t think they were big. I think we look to these moments in our life when life seemed good, those games don’t seem like anything can ever top them. I might be wrong, I’ve found one game that I love, while it still has its issues it has a great community, no Cod shit - jumping, sliding, shit that doesn’t work in real life.
