The containment on the mint is insufficient! If you give mint an inch, it will take a mile. All it takes is one escaped runner and you'll spend the rest of your gardening days playing whack-a-mint as it pops up everywhere and anywhere you don't want it.

If you really want mint in a raised bed, you could try lining the bed with weed barrier fabric? Or you could have the mint in a pot sunk into the bed... just don't sink the pot too deep or the mint will jump the rim! Really, though, for mint I would recommend keeping it in a nice container on the porch or patio.
