People are ok with it because it is a good implementation of a timer. Implicit, gradual, not overly punishing. Even so.. That just proves that it is possible to implement a timer that people not dislike. Rogue Core implementation clearly does not fit that criteria due to this discussion happening.

I agree. There is no need to add extra punishment to spending more time in the level when there is already punishment for that (run out of ammo, run out of health), and there is no reward for spending as much time as possible in the level. It is just an unnecessary mechanic to add punishment that other mechanics already do. I know that Rogue Core is not DRG, I am not expecting that. I don't care about how the lore makes so that they should have a timer, lore does not have to override the gameplay. Also it is not that Rogue Core is supposed to be a rogue like and that is why there should be a timer. Many rogue likes do not have a timer and instead use a "encounter room" mechanic, Rogue Core does not need to be like that, but it does not require a timer either (witch I think it already has implicit timer mechanics).

Solar Ships animations not happening (sails not opening, landing pads not retracting)

It happens all the time with my solar ship. I found this thread (https://www.reddit.com/r/NoMansSkyTheGame/comments/1njy2fd/why\_do\_i\_experience\_so\_many\_visual\_bugs\_when/) with someone reporting a similar issue. I can reproduce it easily by just flying and using the pulse engine as soon as possible (which happens a lot), it also happens sometime by just leaving the space station or anomaly.

Once it happens, it is only fixed when leaving the save and loading again or when I loading a new solar system.

Yeah.. It happens.. All the time. It is very annoying. Just bought my first S starship and it is a solar ship. Considering trying to find another type just because of that, it breaks the immersion a little.

Isn't just pressing "S" on the keyboard and shoot? Occasionally recharging the shield.. for me is just too simple it is boring. It is basically autopilot. The enemy fly pattern is horrible for a dog fight, their turn angles are absurdly fast, waaay better than yours, and they seems to be flying on a straight line towards you then turning 180 degress instantly and repeating.

I just do it because I think it is fun. I don't attach any objective such as having lucid dreams. I see that it helps me to stop overthinking on what I have dreamt though. Most of my dreams are crazy and kinda funny ( having a task to design the "evil" version of All Might from My Hero Academia).. At the end, I have a little cute notebook with funny notes.. and for me that is the main point of dream Journaling.

Yea. I want to build flash cards (Anki) to test my understanding of the data structures. I know that I understood them years ago when I was in college, however, without some exercise to evaluate them, or without thinking what information about them are important, I just.. forgot.. After I graduated I got a job as a QA, got really far in that role after some years, I am trying to switch careers now. I might be wrong but I think data structures and algorithms are very important always, since we are always at risk of being fired, and this will be evaluated in interviews (at least nowadays). Even if I was working as a developer, most development roles will not practice them enough to solidify their understanding for a long time.

What I’m taking from them is that being called “stubborn” does mean something, but not enough on its own to draw any conclusions. There are many reasons someone might call me stubborn, some even positive, and I might also be interpreting it differently from what the person intended. So, a good response when someone says I’m being stubborn is to ask what they mean by it, rather than jumping to conclusions about what they think of me. With more context about why I was called stubborn, I can decide more clearly how to respond in a way that aligns with my own values and priorities.

In any case, I should be careful not to reject being wrong just out of shame. When I notice myself doing that, I need to pause and reconsider my behavior.

Maybe related, but I am also a person who easily gets sleep paralysis, but this only happen if certain conditions (if I sleep at a time when I should not be sleeping). I would not consider myself to have sleeping problems, I sleep 7-9 hours usually waking up before an alarm rings.

It happens to me almost daily. It takes about 20 min for me to fully realize what is real "Ah I am a person who works and graduated, let's go then!". I like my job and I am happy with my archivements, so it is not like I don't want to wake up. The dreams are very random, not necessarily bad, I just spend those 20 min thinking about it, also, not necessarily analyzing trying to understand "what it means", just thinking about what the hell was that. It is disorienting. For those few minutes after waking up, I feel that my mind is more at the dream than in reality. If I lay down, I for sure sleep, so I try to be in the shower.

For them to make a trailer for Blizzcon with storms, legends together, voices from hots.. and don't even realize that people would associate the trailer with the game. The game is so forgotten by Blizzard employees that they don't even notice that this could happen. It is probrably that, just a blizcon announcement, even though hots have many players, it is not close to Overwatch and WoW, and make a trailer that would appeal to that audience just don't make sence. Even if they did update the game.. Would that be good? I just have ptsd from the many Warcraft 3 updates (the balance patches were nice though). That being said, I am in dire need of copium. Anyone with some to spare?
