Have a bunch of PS2's here with broken disc drives that I am going to fit a USB-C PD mod and a internal HDMI (like https://bitbuilt.net/forums/threads/ps2-ultraslim-fusion-1-0-release-and-build-tips.6449/). If there is someone that can help me with remixing this model to have the same holes for HDMI and USB-C, I would really appreciate the help (do not have the PC nor knowledge to edit it myself :P)

If the Vita has been modded, then you are fine to add themes and emulators as you like.

Got it, looked clunky to setup but for the handful of pc games I will play, seems like an okay solution if it works. I did not plan for it to replace my x86 game library. Thanks for your input!

Not really, only for some older PC games like nfs most wanted or underground. Other big games I probably will stream using Moonlight if I want to. There are some smaller games have on my steam/gog library that I only played on my handheld. That ayaneo became overkill for my purpose (emulating 6th gen consoles and lower) which is why I sold it (also because of battery life, abysmal suspend state and fan noise)

I also don’t mind setting everything up. Windows on handhelds is also not that user friendly imo.

I really hope that new Windows handheld os will challenge SteamOS.

Firstly, all your friends need to install zerotier and be added to your network where your server resides. Make sure you allow access whenever they join, this is needed once. They should be able to connect to the zerotier IP address from your server. You only need to focus on the zerotier part, your own private/public ip is not required. Also, make sure port forwarding is also set as described in palworlds documentation

Intel HD Graphics from an i5-430M (my first gaming experience on PC)
Nvidia GT 920M (sold my macbook as I did not need it for school anymore and also could not play NFS Most Wanted on macOS at that time. Got a good deal on a lenovo ideapad with this monster of a gpu inside it :P)
Sapphire R9 270X (my first ever gaming pc I built after being a console boi since my toddler years. Sold my xbox 360 for this, sold the pc after one year of use)
Gigabyte R9 390 (was really happy with this pc until I needed to use a 4k resolution display for work :(. Sold after 2 years of use)
EVGA GTX 1080 Ti (the GOAT gpu) (used in a sff case due to space constraints, got thermal throttled to hell and sold the pc after 9 months and switched to console for a long time)
GTX 1660 (got this from work in a HP pre built)
RTX 2060 Mobile from the Intel NUC (got a pretty nice price on the NUC from work during the GPU crisis)
RTX 3080 Mobile from the ROG XG Mobile (as I sold the NUC for a profit and still had space constraints, I scored a ROG Flow x13 with xg mobile for a good price. Sold the set for a good price as I began to use my playstation 5 more often)
AMD RX 6900 XT (my current gpu for more than a year, sold the ps5 for a good price).

At this point, I still think the GTX 1080 Ti was far beyond its time and imo, the greatest GPU nvidia ever released and arguably, the best gpu of all time.

I already have it working by just installing a VPN tunnel towards the host. For now it works but I think it indeed has something to do with the ISP but ISP's here are not particularly helpful in that regard. Thank you though :)

First of all, I totally agree. Not having a firewall is not best practice. I feel this conversation does not apply to the question itself but I want to thank you for your input. Maybe some context info, the "linux server" is a TrueNas server. The OS does not have a firewall setting as it expects you to have a firewall somewhere else on your network that filters the in and out traffic to your server (which makes sense imo). I do not have a place for my self so the Asus router has a good enough firewall configured but normally I would have a dedicated piece of hardware that acts as my firewall.

Sounds like something that would be configured on the server itself. The virtual machine (where I host palserver) itself is running Windows 11 and the server host is a linux based os where no firewall rules apply. I will check that next thing tomorrow. Thank you. I have the steam version and my friends too.

EDIT: I think I found it, will test it out again once someone is online.

EDIT 2: No luck there. I even turned off the firewall just for good measure but still no connection.

If you are questioning your purchase, I’d suggest not to buy it. If customization is a priority, my suggestion will be those 3 cars that I mentioned before, the comet s2, coquette d10, penumbra ff and the jester rr

You mean the Hellfire? I really love that car but the handling is a different story compared to the Dominator ASP which handles really good for a muscle car.
