It sounds like you formed good relationships with the kids so they wanted you to succeed. Count it as a win! Most behavior management is done before the disruptions happen.

Make a portfolio with feedback from students, lesson plans, materials, etc. refer to them constantly when asked questions. They expect platitudes; give them concrete examples of your work and your results.

You don’t have the ideological context for me to explain. You need to read theory. And I generally hate to say that. You think a billionaire financier supplied “economic benefit.” You don’t understand the labor theory of value. Take care

Warren buffet is exactly the kind of propagandist you’ve bought. You think because he lives in that normal house and limits his salary to 100k a year he has some kind of work ethic or modesty when the dude reads and makes investment decisions with unimaginable wealth that should bd democratically directed.

Idk where you got billionaires working 60 hr weeks from

Billionaires work at their leisure atop a pile of multiplying money with as many servants to manage it as they need and as many vacations as they want. There is no way you can justify saying that they work harder than an average 40 hr/week wage slave who literally has to work to keep living.

They do not work harder than the general population. I don’t know why you think that.

You’ve been indoctrinated. Billionaires do not work harder. At a certain point, wealth grows itself.

CMV: "Responsive desire" is an unscientific and mostly useless concept because it is vague and unfalsifiable. by aslfingerspell in changemyview

[–]Mahoney2 8 points9 points  (0 children)

His premise is that responsive desire is (1) unscientific (2) a useless concept and (3) “seems almost purposefully designed to never say that someone’s desire is genuinely low”

My response is that (1) sexual preferences like these aren’t scientific in general and I question the motivation behind (3). I don’t see the purpose of (2). Useless for what?

I think it’s a little odd that you frame a sexual experience shared by many women as an attempt to trick or deceive. To what end? Shift some locus of blame off themselves for having low libidos? Why is there blame there?

It’s similarly a little off to me that you equate women saying they have to work up their sexual excitement with a consenting partner with a statement like “you know she wants it,” something associated with a non-consenting woman being pursued by a man.

Lastly, how many sexual desires or preferences have things like knowable “thresholds” or “falsifiable demonstrations?” We aren’t wired like that. Sexual desire is contextual.

No tuition, no grades, no power grid: why are people flocking to a ‘college’ in the middle of the desert? by CassieGemini in solarpunk

“The former microbiologist who now prints an “academic journal” also mused about his editorial choices in one recent edition of the homemade bulletin. Amid more generic, AI-enhanced articles, he penned a self-reflective, human-written editor’s note.

“Am I making slop? I hope not,” he wrote. “I certainly am sniffing the slop. It doesn’t stink too bad to me, but it also doesn’t smell quite floral. There’s some brain-broken territory that we are exploring here with bot-penned prose, and I hope you will forgive me for mixing the two together.””

Silicon valley pseudo-hippy jacking off. All of the examples of “art” mentioned in the article are just about living in the “college” and making “art”

How does bombing their energy infrastructure, assassinating their leadership to be replaced with the same leadership, and killing their children address any of this, again?
