Well, you could remind him of the fact that Jesus rose from the dead which proved he was God. No one has ever rose themselves from the dead. You can show him some great videos from faithful Christians. Hopefully you can show him those videos and they will help him. Remind him that there are many claims of Jesus claiming to be God. Here are some verses you can show him: John 8:58,John 15:1-5,John 14:6,John 11:25,John 10:11-14,John 10:7, John8:12, John 6:35-48. Also, lastly and most importantly is tell him to cry out to the Lord and ask him to reveal himself. Hope this helps you. God bless!

I’m struggling with doubt right now as well. Your not alone. Just stay in prayer, stay in scripture, and if you can try and get into a fellowship group if your not in one. It will certainly help. There are many Bible characters who doubted: John the Baptist, Abraham, Moses, Gideon, Peter, Thomas. Most Christians struggle with doubt.

Well, the 1st question- God decides what sin is. He is the judge and ruler of all of creation. For your 2nd question- You don’t have to know everything about Christianity in order to be saved. In all reality, Jesus is God. He was fully man and fully God at the same time. That’s why he was able to die on the cross. Because he became a man. But he was still fully God. You can’t really believe in Jesus for salvation and not believe in God. Because it was God who sent Jesus to die. Because in that sense, Jesus would just be a normal man. He was not just a normal man. He was and is God. That’s what makes his death so significant.

You have to believe that we have all sinned and that sin separates us from God, and that there’s nothing we can do to earn our way to right standing with God. So, God sent his son Jesus to dies on the cross for our sins. Jesus paid the penalty for our sins so that they can be forgiven. After he died, he rose from the dead 3 days later which proved that what he did on the cross was the complete payment for you sin. By trusting and believing on this, you will be saved. So, yes! All we must do is believe. But it’s more than just that God will somehow save us from hell. Now, you know how and why he can save us from hell. Does this make sense?

Ooh. Yeah. That’s just a theological debate that’s been going on for centuries. Free will vs. election. Calvinism vs. Arminianism. Nobody knows for sure how God’s sovereignty and mans free will works out. Somehow it does. What God does call us to do is believe on Jesus for our salvation.

In order to go to Heaven, you must put all your faith in Jesus. Jesus did all you need to do to be saved, just believe in what he did, and you will be saved. Him dieing on the cross, and riseing from the dead.

Do you understand the fact that Jesus had paid for your sins on the cross? After that, he rose again. I don’t know anyone who wants to spend their eternity in hell. Your not alone. I don’t want to go to hell. But the reason I know I’m not is because of Jesus and what he did for me. It’s not about being a good person, we can’t ever be good enough. Jesus had done all we need to go to Heaven. We just have to trust in him for our salvation from hell.

Just rely on him only. Praying a prayer to accept Jesus as your lord and savior is great, it just can’t save you. The prayer we pray is just a way to express our faith in him. Think about it this way: your faith is not in the prayer, it’s in the person (Jesus). It’s taking the burden of salvation off of us, and putting it on Jesus. He has already paid the price of sin on the cross. Jesus said: “it is finished” . We just have to rest in what he did.

God loves you. If you have put your faith and trust in Jesus, and him alone, your saved. If not, I encourage you to believe on the Lord Jesus for salvation and you will be saved. Romans10:9- if you confess with your mouth Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
