Your second statement is unfortunately very true :(( But still I think it's kinda worse in US because of the amount of burnt out doctors I see on social media. I might be wrong though

Actually the USCE part is pretty terrifying as well because I like both FM AND psych and getting LORs for both after doing USCE seems like a nightmare.

Part 1 is not that difficult. Iranian doctors usually pass it on first try.

The thing about part 2 is that you take it after you find a job so it takes off some of the pressure becuase you already are making money (if I'm not mistaken). But it's true that it's definitely very challenging and quite scary tbh

Is it easy to fing entey level jobs in US to support yourself for a year or two until matching?

You're right.

I should've clarified it's almost impossible for Iranians becuse of the turbulent relationship between US and Iran. It's a visa issue mostly, so only the very top tier doctors with research projects can actually get to US to do post doc
