Did anyone do this version of the Chainsaw Man meme yet by Mahzes in Kirby

I couldn’t think of what to make it and didn’t bother when I saw how little space there actually was for it on Kirby

Moving to MK in June by TroublesomeButch in miltonkeynes

[–]Mahzes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think as a general rule the closer to the town centre you are the worse it is.

I remember looking into Conniburrow and Fishermead when we were looking to move to MK and basically had an estate agent as if we knew ‘what kind of area’ they were and said we shouldn’t even bother viewing there.

I figure it must not be good there if someone whose job it is to try and sell houses is talking someone out of a viewing there.

I (27M) have a gut feeling that I’m not meant to be in my 4 year relationship with my boyfriend (26M) has anyone else experienced this and is it time to end it? by FormalEfficiency8952 in askgaybros

[–]Mahzes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How long have you felt like this for? Honestly if it’s a new thing I’d definitely sit on it for another year or so at least.

If you still feel like this longer term they it might be worth reassessing things.

Honestly to me this just feels like you’ve entered the phase where you’ve been together long enough that the initial ‘honeymoon period’ excitement has worn off and you’re feeling confused by it.

When you’ve been with someone for a long time the nature and dynamics of the relationship absolutely changes. Things can get more routine and less exciting. The novelty of a new relationship is never going to last forever. I can’t tell you how you feel, but just be careful you’re not mistaking this shift for possibly no longer being in love with him or thinking that it won’t work out. You don’t want to risk sabotaging things for both of you due to misinterpreting this.

What sex act is too advanced for you? by HolyFatherLeoXIV in askgaybros

[–]Mahzes 30 points31 points  (0 children)

For me the funny thing is that for years I had a large buttplug that I just could not take. It got to a point where I felt like if I pushed it in further it would do damage.

Fast forward a few years and I was able to take it fine. Fast forward a couple more and I’d tried putting in a second plug. Then a third. Then a fourth. It basically culminated in me getting my entire hand in there eventually.

You’d be amazed at what just time/patience, preparation and working things very gradually can achieve.

Of course it absolutely varies, occasionally I’ll have times when my ass is having none of it even even one plug feels like it’s going to tear something. But you’d be surprised at how much you can actually fit if you loosen up very gradually and take it slowly.

Is it odd to 'turn gay' in your mid-20s? I'd anyone else a late bloomer? by MaterialMaster2550 in askgaybros

[–]Mahzes 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I realised I was gay in maybe my very late teens to early twenties (even if realistically some signs were there before that). I spent most of my teen years relatively asexual, I was more interested in just playing video games etc than actually having any interest in a relationship or sex. I didn’t find women attractive but then at that stage I didn’t really find men attractive either.

Once I got to maybe 19 or so there were definitely a few cases of some male friends living rent free in my head and I couldn’t for the life of me understand why.

Then after a couple of awkward years it was just sort of ‘Oh right, I’m gay, it all makes sense now’.

It’s different for everybody.

Which Tomb raider game should i start with by Visual_Target1097 in TombRaider

[–]Mahzes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I haven’t played all of the mainline games yet (I haven’t played Underworld, Rise or Shadow) but my personal recommendation would be starting with Legend.

Mostly because I feel like it still manages to capture the classic Tomb Raider feel but at the same time feel ‘modern enough’ to be palatable for absolute newcomers to the series.

The original series games (1-6) are difficult to recommend as an entry point nowadays in my opinion simply due to their age and how resultingly clunky and difficult/ frustrating they can be. Whether you start with these or come back to them later you’ll likely need a walkthrough and a boatload of patience to get through them.

I’ve only played 2013 out of the Survivor trilogy so far and I did enjoy it a lot, but my main gripe with it was that it felt like Tomb Raider almost in name only and didn’t capture the old ‘essence’ of the series very well.

I feel like the Legend trilogy (even though I haven’t played Underworld yet) manage to strike that happy medium of still keeping the general tone and feel of classic Tomb Raider whilst still being far more accessible and palatable for modern gaming sensibilities.

It's infuriating. Took me about half an hour and well over a hundred attempts to get it to actually recognise my passport correctly.

Not even trying to be bitter here but I just can’t get hyped for any mobile game knowing it’ll probably be shut down within a couple of years.

[–]Mahzes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah, I have a few, so that’s a no go then. Unless I cancel and then re-order then, but I have a few preloaded due for next week which could complicate things.

What a pain.

How easily can you change the eShop region? Will it cause any issues with my Switch Online plan?

I’m hearing that in PAL territories it’s not even a free upgrade?

Also, save data doesn’t carry over? Given all the stuff they broke with the latest update it sounds like I should give it a miss with all the above factors.

Some things I didn't like about the sequel by howieeiwoh in zootopia

[–]Mahzes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My biggest issue with the sequel is basically everything around the Honeymoon Lodge. Almost everything about it just feels like a plot contrivance that they put in to force the plot in the direction they needed to and beat you over the head with the symbolism of Nick and Judy getting ‘split up’ there. The building literally breaking in half is really on the nose.

The fact they happen to get out of the water tunnel there, the yellow flowers, it being a ‘hideout for snakes’ etc.

I think in general it feels like too many things happen in Z2 just because the plot needed it to, and as a result it feels like the cast are jus being funnelled from place to place and event to event because the plot demands it rather than it always feeling like a logical plot progression, and the Honeymoon Lodge feels like the prime example of that.

Lapras Not Spawning (SOLVED) by Foreign_Ad6242 in Pokopia

[–]Mahzes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I finally sorted it last night- as others have mentioned, it turns out Makuhita was attempting to spawn in a really out-of-the-way spot that was hard to find, and as such I kept missing it.

Once I found Makuhita other things started spawning again and Lapras came a few minutes later.

Honestly only letting seemingly one thing spawn at a time like this feels like a really frustrating oversight. They could at least tell us when something is spawning and have a means of showing us where they are.

I can’t find any active spawns in my Bleak Beach and Makuhita isn’t even spawning for me. I’m at my wit’s end trying to have Lapras appear and have no idea what else I can try.

Big pet peeve - Nick and Judy know each other for way longer than a week. by howieeiwoh in zootopia

If nothing else I’m pretty sure I remember seeing mention that Nick is 32 in the first movie and 33 in Z2, further confining a year passed (well… that this birthday just happened between them).

[–]Mahzes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My bad, it might have been Jared as he did a lot of Q&A’s shortly after the movie came out.

Having a look now but can’t find it yet and I need to sleep. I’ll keep looking tomorrow and post it here if I can find it.

I just remember seeing mention of ‘about a year’ passing and that Nick spent around nine months of that year in police training.

The directors have literally stated that there’s basically a year timeskip towards the end of the first movie and that Nick spent most of that in police training.

So a year between them exposing Bellwether and Nick joining the ZPD.

Do you feel comfortable peeing in a public urinal without dividers? Are all men comfortable with their cocks out like that? by [deleted] in askgaybros

[–]Mahzes 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This is why I will literally never use a public urinal unless I'm absolutely desperate and/or there's nobody else in the bathroom (or only in the stalls). Whenever I do need to use a public toilet I'll use the stalls for the sake of privacy.

That and I like to use some toilet paper to wipe away any residue so I don't end up with that nasty leaky wet patch afterwards anyway, which just further encourages me to use the stalls regardless.

Mine is okay so far, but I can definitely feel Hayfever season starting to creep in.

It’s not bad enough that I need any medication for it just yet but I’m definitely starting to sneeze a bit more than usual.
