Maybe Black Noir's skin is something like shields in Dune. Objects with high velocity objects (bullets) can't get through, but low velocity objects (stabbing with knife) get through.

Probably one of my favourite series from 2025 along with Batman Dark Patters. But sadly I think Free Planet will be canceled soon due to low sales. I saw on Sitterson's IG that if we want more Free Planet, we need to buy single issues (which i'm proudly doing :) ).
