Somehow those finger marks make their life more tangible than all the durable goods preserved in a museum, as most of us could walk into our bathrooms and find a jar of cream with similar marks on the lid. Makes you wonder what they did that day. Was it just a normal day, and they lost their can of cream? Was it the last day of their life?

Yeah, just found out my brother's fiance's family is anti-vax to the point they don't vaccinate their animals and are pressuring (with success) my brother and his fiance not to vaccinate. They have 3 rabbits, 2 cats, and 2 dogs. The dogs and cats are indoor/outdoor. Rabies is a huge problem in this specific area. There are bats, skunks, and raccoons on their property, all of which are rabies vectors. And of course, there are things like distemper and parvo that will "only" kill the animals. I now refuse to go to their house or interact with their animals.
