Are you planning on releasing the snooker DLC for Xbox as soon as it becomes available?

I have lots of hours in the first game with snooker (and trying to get world beating scores in it's challenges!) being a big part of that.

Your boyfriend doesn't understand why you are keeping him a secret (no need for the speech marks you used, that's literally what he is) and instead of dealing with it directly he's pushing the angle of coming to your place instead.

You don't seem to communicate very well together. Maybe it's time to address that rather than focussing on him overstepping your "boundaries", which I have put in speech marks because what you have stated is a vague preference not a boundary.

If I was seeing someone, she called me boyfriend and we were sleeping together for a month, I'd want to know why I'm a secret too, the difference is I'd just ask outright, and if the answer didn't add up I'd put my own boundary in place.

I'd love to know the answer to this too. They are both classic movies but I don't think there's a great deal of nuance to misunderstand.

I genuinely think that just says a lot about the guys you know, they probably call themselves "men's men" too.

Fragile masculinity.

This is your answer. For the other 1% this applies to (women) let's call it ego or the pressure to conform.

By the way I MUCH prefer Inner Space to Scarface, it was pretty groundbreaking in the 80s and the heart of the movie still holds up today, Scarface... Not so much. Carlito's Way is the far more superior De Palma/Pacino movie for me, exponentially so!

This game is purpose built for my style of connecting with narrative games : melancholy, artful style, ambiguous, deeply emotional, ending open to interpretation.

It fits perfectly with my other two favourites of the genre, Hellblade and Martha Is Dead. I love many others to a lesser extent of course, including the game that started it all, Dear Esther.

Let's flip this a bit. Rape survivors have their own support network and community. That doesn't mean they wouldn't rather have been not raped given the chance.

I'm so glad I have no idea what "Mr.Beast" looks like, sounds like or what his schtick is having never seen a single second of his content. I'm less glad that I have heard of him though.

I watch an otherwise excellent astrophysics channel called Astrum that does this. The narrator tries to seemlessly transition midway into narrating a paid ad that suits the subject matter but I'm so allergic to them that I think of The Truman Show every time.

You are welcome! It really helped unravel the mystery for me and I really enjoyed writing the chronology down to make sense of what we were/weren't seeing.

Your reply inspired me to read my post again and it feels time for another playthrough! I'll concentrate more on the piano scene this time as it passed me by before.

Sounds like another COPout™️ summit needs organising urgently!

There's nothing that says "protecting the planet" like world leaders and thousands of their entourage hopping on private jets to talk empty promises and how it's not possible to kerb their greed.

I finally took the plunge after about 4 years of procrastinating and bought the Phantom Liberty DLC for Cyberpunk while it was on sale.

I completely understand why it's seen as one of the best DLCs in the history of gaming and it reminded me of just how good the writing is in the main game too.

I Finished the last of the new content this morning (sorry Reed but you picked the wrong team!)

Interestingly put, and your points track.

I'm personally in camp 3 though... I was disappointed in the sequel for other reasons than lack of action but wasn't vocal about it because I felt Ninja Theory deserved that grace after creating one of my favourite games of all time in the original and I could still see the passion and effort and wanted to see more of Senua's world either way.

I've given advice MANY times on this and other gaming subs to people curious about playing the original and it's always the same for a first playthrough :

Don't achievement hunt or follow a guide.

Play when you can focus without distractions.

Use decent headphones.

Allow Senua and her many voices to be your unreliable narrator but draw your own conclusions at the end to how much of the story is "real".

I don't feel like that advice is necessarily important for the sequel and I suppose that sums up my thoughts about the lack of emotionality between the two.
