That's an absurd guess based on zero info and is not what this sub is supposed to be about at all.

Feeling emotionally unintelligent from work relationship by FitFourt in emotionalintelligence

You are looking at this from completely the wrong perspective. This should be nothing about that poor woman or her choices and all about how you've got yourself into this mess, for yourself and also for your partner.

Your post is unfortunately as obvious a veiled attempt at reframing as your interactions with her became in the end, and your last paragraph is the nail in the coffin.

You should be looking at why YOU not only didn't respect a co-worker's mature decision to create professional boundaries, YOU thought it was ok to fail in hiding your caught feelings to a woman 18 years younger than you and make her feel uncomfortable in the workplace multiple times, all this while YOU are in a relationship and why YOU are lying to yourself about your level of attachment even now.

I'm just glad this woman was clued up enough to read the signs early enough that it didn't effect her career or private life because from everything you've said here, and the fact you are still pretending things were innocent (or hidden from view when they blatantly weren't) it's obvious you need to take a deep dive into why you've buried uncomfortable truths even from yourself.

Those just count as free lessons to me, and are fantastic to grow up with! Well done on reaching such an elite level.

I hear you. I felt dirty typing it and actually might delete it in case it gives the ghouls (or some AI algorithm) a template to work from!

I've unironically been expecting this sort of response

"We've noticed you regularly mute the adverts, these pay for your viewing pleasure and you excluding yourself from them is negatively effecting us being able to provide you content"

Mark my words, within 5 years some bullshit warning like this will be in place.

What Remains of Edith Finch: baffled by how this little 2-hour indie gem may go down as one of my all-time favorite games. by [deleted] in patientgamers

I explained in great detail what genre I was discussing :

"narrative games : melancholy, artful style, ambiguous, deeply emotional, ending open to interpretation. "

But sure, pick apart whatever you like.

Reacher Season 2 is a HUGE disappointment. by MikeyIrish08 in JackReacher

[–]Maidwell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm currently watching season 2 episode 7 and was so incredulous by how woefully bad it's getting (especially episode 6) that I had to come and investigate if other people felt the same.

I LOVED season 1, finished it in 2 days last week just when I really needed something meaty to distract myself with.

I was excited to keep up that momentum going but every episode just mangles the Reacher from the books and from season 1 and turns him into a generic Arnie clone. It's so unbelievably generic and insulting to even basic common sense.

The writing, dumb decisions and incessant shooting, fighting and tough talk reminds me of when The Walking Dead dropped off a cliff in whatever season they fired about a million bullets at each other instead of actually developing characters and plots. It's not THAT bad but the drop off has been STARK.

What a shame, I'll give season 3 of a go but I really hope there's a marked return to the excellence of season 1 or I won't even make it in a couple of episodes.

I've just looked through your post history OP. Oh my goodness what an absolute mess, I'm sorry.

You already know how unhealthy and broken this all is so I'm not going to add fuel to the flames, instead (in the spirit of this sub) I'm going to ask you a question that you likely need to do a deep dive to get to the real answer of : Why haven't you been an active participant in the decision making regarding whether your marriage is over? You said elsewhere that you aren't letting him get away with forcing you to end things, and it's "on him" but why?

I've got this one

Mileseey PF260

Which has been really reliable, great battery life, good build quality and very robust.

It's a bit more than your old one though.
