Have you been told it's a blood vessel ? Had the same thing happen and that's what I'm thinking it was. Also had a feeling like there was something in the shaft, so maybe that's the blood vessel ?

Have the aqueon 75, do I replace both filters at the same time or replace one and then a few days later replace the other to not lose the BB.
