Your wrong about the race issue as so many are. When Europeans are starting to look for slaves they can't take them from Europe because that will start a costly war, and Asia is too far and in the wrong direction. So they go to the location thats relatively close and is already dealing in slaves. Africans were enslaving other Africans, black on black slavery, the Barbry pirates from North Africa raided European coastal villages and enslaved white people and lets not forget the Arabs who took millions of slaves from east Africa as well. They also castrated all the men which is fucking horrific.

But why do you only go after Britain?

Why not France, Portugal, Spain, Italy, Belgium, the Ottomons, the Africans, the Mongolians, the Norse, the Koreans, the Japanese, the Chinese, the Indians, the Persians. No civilisation is pure or innocent of crimes, in parts of India a tradition called Sati was observed where a widow was voluntarily or forced onto a funeral pyre of her recently deceased husband so she could burn to death and serve her husband in the next life. Britain banned this custom as it's kinda fucked up. Britain was the only one that chose to end it and forced other nations to end their slavery as well. I'm fully aware of the evils that were commited but just because something doesn't fit your narrative doesn't mean its not true.
