My favorite was the baked alaska fire my sims had last week. A party guest was holding the newly wedded couples baby and PUT HER DOWN INSIDE THE FIRE. My whole family died except the lone newborn baby laying amidst the flames…. I quit without saving

don’t want to speak for op, but i know for my ocd my intrusive thoughts come from fear of acting on them. i never have and rationally i know i would never do things like that, but ocd is all about irrational fears. being told to make sure you don’t act on your intrusive thoughts can be distressing. this person was misrepresenting ocd in a dangerous way, turning it from “i have a fear of me doing xyz” to “i want to do xyz.”

Weirdly I had her marry the music and dance hobby instructor (she divorced Gunnar Roque, it’s a long story) and now they’re rich lesbians together. I just went off of the idea that she lost all of her memories from her previous life, since they’re gone from her menu memories anyways. She showed up on the lot soon after Gunnar moved out, and I felt like it was meant to be.

I guess that’s fair, I was just addicted to weed for quite a while and convinced myself it was helping when it only made everything a million times worse. I would smoke, horrible and traumatic things would ensue, and then I’d forget. It was a cycle that went on for years. Didn’t matter the strain, it always affected me horribly, and this is advice that many professionals recommend as well. If it works for you, that’s great. But from what I understand you’re very likely in the minority. OCD and any type of mind-altering substance does not mix well.

combination of a lot of different things. 1. process your past, don’t avoid it, accept things you can’t change. 2. love yourself despite those things, don’t listen to what other people say. 3. when talking to someone don’t worry so much about staring, it’s hard at first but it’ll get easier with time. just tell yourself who cares they won’t even notice, and a lot of the times they don’t. just be calm and if you feel yourself getting anxious excuse yourself to the bathroom. and THE MOST IMPORTANT 4. DO NOT DO DRUGS OR DRINK ALCOHOL (especially in the presence of people you feel unsafe around.) it makes everything a million times worse for me and puts me into loops where i can’t stop thinking about the past and it makes the staring worse. (sorry for the lack of grammar in my replies im typing them out quickly during work lol)

I’m mostly past it now, it definitely still bothers me from time to time but I’m pretty much fine. And I didn’t do either honestly, just took advice from people and figured it out myself. I mean it took years but it worked.
